Half of U.S. States Have Big Racial Vaccine Gaps Heading Into Omicron
Bloomberg News’s tracker shows which states made the most (and least) progress in equitably vaccinating people.

    is "knuckledragging" racist?

    https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/2005/12/22/re-knuckle-draggers/

    it has racist overtones:

"Dictionary of American Slang" by Robert L. Chapman, Ph.D. (Random House, 1987). Here, verbatim, is an entry of interest:
The reader points out that the gorilla image is problematic, given that black people have been denigrated with simian imagery in the past, but the reader says that this definition appears to support the view that this slang term is not widely understood to be a racial epithet. This is particularly true because other definitions in the dictionary (e.g., "boy," which the reader also scanned and sent along), clearly identify racist usage.

I assumed it was referencing Neanderthals.

Anyways. I’m glad it’s looking like this variant is weak. Next week is gonna be cray.

I also could have said neanderthal or troglodyte, but then you'd be searching a dna database to see what % of the population I was offending.

I didn't mean it in that way, never even thought about it, and you knew that, but it's funny that that's what you immediately thought of.

I wonder how many lied about their education. If you are going to lie, might as well lie all the way.

Preprint. Not peer-reviewed. This was May of 2021. Conservatively, I would say public opinion 8M outs for a EUA vaccine at the time is very outdated.

With that said, you are posting version 1 of the study. Version 2 corrected a mistake. PhD was not the most vaccine hesitancy group by education level back in May of 2021.

Thanks for the update. So the two groups with most hesitancy are no degree of any type and Doctorates. Almost the same results as what I posted but switched positions with everyone in-between still behind calling doctorates knuckle dragging morons in order to feel better about themselves.

It's no degree and some college. Personally, even if this is recent, I wouldn't put too much stake in a FB survey that has yet to be reviewed.

No, it's no college and some college. I have combined those to No Degree.

I don't even know wtf you are talking about with No Degree and Some College. That's the same thing.
