KPJr is a special type of headcase that most organizations, especially those that are rebuilding, will have a lot of trouble trying to handle…he’s closer to the JR Smith/Ron Artest types

somewhere like in LA under Lebron, in San Antonio with Pop, or in Miami, they might be able to control him…if KPJr had tried this in Miami Jimmy would’ve dealt with it ASAP, or Udonis Haslem would’ve hit him with a crispy 2 piece and knocked his ass out, and he’d wake up with the demeanor of Otto Porter Jr

KPJr gets set off by the smallest things…his reaction to simply getting his locker moved was not normal…his reaction last night was over the top and not normal…most organizations will just get rid of a headcase like him and not bother, especially with his level of pedestrian production

I agree we need some grizzled leader type vets, but most vets aren’t gonna want to come here and babysit on a bad team…the vets we’ll attract are the ones looking to get paid like Theis

at 1st, Lucas was talked about as the KPJr whisperer…somebody who would be perfect for him…I guess not

Honestly, it might be best if KPJ goes somewhere that has a true superstar player - someone he looks up to......and can help keep him in line.

Our org is a mess, has zero leadership on the floor, or in the locker room, nor even at the top.

T-Mac first round losses were miserable playoff exits.

losing in the semifinals and conference finals is disappointing, not miserable.

When Harden & CP3 got into it after Harden quit, was Silas the head coach? Draymond & KD? It would seem these things happen almost every team

Better than no playoffs and miserable player exits at halftime.

Losing in the semi finals while your superstar player stopped competing is worse than anything

I would like to see if he can go up to the next level in the right environment (capable coach, dependable vets). If he's gone it's also quite understandable, it just quite worrisome that we have no system to handle players like that. Missing out on great potential.

This is a good take. You would hope that your head coach could provide the leadership, but we have the “good cop”.

Lol, Porter is basically taking a dump on his development.

Tmac was already developed, just did not have enough, to be honest, he did go to 7 games on several occasions meaning he could have won, he just did not have the last effort to pull it through.

----Dilemma of a dude that could not close out a series.

Wood is moronic and hasn't played one Playoff game being 26 years old.

How does keeping kpj fix the issues this organization has? It only adds to the dumpster fire. So why keep him

The Rockets should apologize right before they cut KPJ. The kid has a loser attitude. Protect our young guys. I’m not a Silas guy by a mile but this should not be the reason he’s gone. They are plenty of other things you could run him for. But Wood and Porter Jr are losers that could contaminate our rookies, Stone better flush these guys QUICK!

This is my thinking. I understand wanting to take a gamble on someone who has the talent but needs the support to get the mental/emotional pieces healthy and past whatever possible developmental trauma created the problems in the first place.

    BUT BUT BUT

Everyone has got to be on the same page.

When dealing with these types of issues you've got to expect to have ruptures occur. But you also need to repair the ruptures and hope the person who lost their sh*t is able to grow through it.

Personally, I wish the organization would quit with being the organization to help the traumatized. Instead, be the organization who gets those who can handle adversity and have already learned to deal with their demons.

Like the cavs did? The cavs have a better leader on their team and they gave up on that “great” potential

Trying to work out the issues? Set up a proper support system? Get dependable vets/coach?

Getting rid of kpj doesn't fix anything except locker room drama. The problems r still there and will rear its ugly ass head with the next headcase.

BTW I'm fine getting rid of kpj but u think further down the line this sht is gonna happen again but this time it will b about a more gifted player. What to do then?

Sometime In the future there will b a troubled but insanely gifted player. I do hope we will b the franchise up to task to handle it rather than just give up on him just for a well run franchise to unlock his full potential

Brandon Jennings had great handles too, and that’s who he often reminds me of, a taller Brandon Jennings…same left handed PG’s with trash efficiency that don’t get to the line

Being the 2nd best passer on the worst team in the West isn’t impressive to me. Who else can even pass all that well on this roster aside from Sengun? Tate is decent I guess. It’s not hard to be a better passer than the likes of EG, Jalen Green, Nwaba, Wood, Theis, Brooks, KJ, etc.

he is shooting 63% from the free throw line…previous 2 years he shot 73 and 72%. He has below average-mediocre shooter written all over him

    I really don’t see it

Cavs has a better coach and they got rid of him. I don’t see why you keep when you already have issues to begin with. It adds to the overall problem. The only way to fix the issues with this team is get rid of the problems one by one.

JB Bickerstaff is not an established coach......KPJ needs mental health help.....if we can't give it to him, then let him go.
