Why are you comparing Green to Porter? Was Green or Sengun given away for basically nothing? Prior history matters. Porter has a long history of this behaviour. His last team told him to stay away from the team. He was traded for 55 protected second round pick. Why is that?

Late first round malcontents with terrible efficiency that have had issues with two other teams are different than 2nd overall picks and Turkish MVPs.

We can agree to disagree. Yes, I think he has star potential. He has playing like it since his return from injury, but you can’t see it, while many others do. That’s ok. I hope he succeeds and I hope he succeeds with us, but if he doesn’t I’ll be disappointed, but won’t lose a lot of sleep over it.

It doesn't have to be sengun or green. All I'm asking if in the future we have an Uber talented rookie/ young player with behavioral issues. R we just gonna get rid of him also bc right now we seem to have nothing in place to handle players like that.

Getting rid of kpj solves the issue right now but does nothing for future players.

I'm just saying if a player becomes malcontent or has a temper what r we going to do to fix it? Or we just gonna give up on every player that lashes out?

Getting rid of kpj doesn't fix the preexisting issues our org has.

Man, if KPJ could actually shoot like JR Smith, he might be worth all this headache.

I think he will still here until new lotto picks arrive and there is less room on the same team.

    I am counting on it.

Royce White blabbered something about establishing protocol.

    Now would be the time.

Written documents of fines and what to do.

I also doubt that every dude with mental problems is storming off and throwing things.

Recognizing that some cases can be salvaged like minor mental cases and some aggravated cases cannot.

I think it’s cause KPJ already has documented issues ... And if you extend him the benefit of the doubt you can still see that he cares about winning and plays hard.

wood is an entirely more selfish player , is 5 years older , and was pouting from the beginning of the game .

I think what kpj did was “worse” , but I’d rather try to move wood first .

Serious question, how was KPJr playing like it since his return from injury? What do y’all see in this dude?

he had 1 good game against the Lakers, then was terrible against Miami. He had an ok 1st half last night. Who knows how the 2nd half would’ve gone for him.

can’t shoot from anywhere, doesn’t get to the line, not a good scorer, very turnover prone

people on here will hype up KPJr and then turn around and call Tyler Herro a scrub or the next Kyle Korver, and he’s a young player who’s actually playing well…I guess everyone has All-Star potential these days if KPJr does

I have no problem with a player and coach getting into an argument, that happens in every sport, in every locker room.

There are issues here though, and I don't feel confident the org is going to get it right....and will just kick the can down the road.

yeah, u can’t compare Green or Sengun to KPJr…this isn’t Porter Jr’s 1st outburst or fck up, it’s like his 10th…they don’t have his history, nor have they displayed anything to suggest they’d ever be this volatile

All I'm saying is if a future more talented player has an outburst what plan does the rocket org has to resolve the issue? Like right now we have no fking coach, an assistant coach lecturing, no dependable vets. No chain of command/structure.

I won't lose 2 much sleep if kpj is gone but does that solve anything in the future? We are gonna have more players like him or is the plan is to avoid all highly gifted headcase and never take the risk?

We have an owner who has no vision, who has his whole family on the Rockets mural.....

Do you really think the organization is a sound one with that dude on top?

The top of the pyramid has to look solid too.

I would be ecstatic if the franchise becomes at least an average one.

I truly hope Mr. Tilman cares about mental illness.

He has great handles, the five games before injury and his time after the injury his assists were up and his TO’s down. His defense is demonstrably better and is has been mentioned by the announcers and his coaching staff and is obvious to anyone watching the games. He is the second best passer on the team, behind Sengun. His 3-pt shooting and finishing at the basket needs to improve, but there is nothing about his shooting motion that would suggest his shooting will be a long-term issue. His PnR game with Wood looks pretty good, but is such a small part of Silas’ offense it is not as apparent. It could be that I’m just an optimist, but I see no reason to give up on him because of this incident. His defensive improvement is testament to his desire to become better.

The Cavs gave him how many chances? How did that turn out for them? The reason why the rockets got him for basically nothing. They knew the risk. They risk nothing for releasing him compared to the risk of keeping him.
