Kevin Porter Jr. loses temper, leaves Toyota Center during 2nd half

Wood is not a real problem but Porter is. He needs to either apologizes and play SF or cut him. Wood just miss a COVID test, and had a attitude because he did not start. I would still trade wood next month but try to get rid of Porter now.

I think there could still be a path forward with KPJ if he does all of the right things to earn back the trust he lost tonight......but no matter what, he's cost himself a lot of money by being so immature.

I don't see a path forward with Wood, he needs to be gone before the next game.

Lucas is a grade A **** up - and the players know it.

Now, he has certainly turned his life around, but when the rubber hits the road, and he is calling players out, they are going to hit back with **** against him.

What disturbs me is that SILAS is supposed to the the head coach....wtf is Lucas doing calling anyone out?

I said as much earlier, that if he can't get past his mental issues he will be Terrance Williams part 2.

its happened too many times now. It will happen again. KPJ just said Rockets saved his life. I wouldn't treat someone who saved my life this way. At the very least I wouldn't think the people who saved my life would steer me in the wrong direction.

It's certainly a bad look, but I'll take the guy that gets overly emotional about the game and has an incident becuase of how much he wants to play over the guy that was actively sabotaging the team in the first half that refused to check into the game in the 2nd half.

One can be salvaged, the other can't.

If you say so, you sound like a tinpot coach to me. The numerous deflection posts and failures in holding players actually accountable make that VERY clear. Making excuses over and over and over for a players' bad character is hardly what I'd expect from a coach, especially one who criticises every little thing that players with excellent character do wrong. Keep the same energy, right now your credibility is shot.

It’d be one thing if this were an isolated incident.
He has shown that this is who he is and even if he keeps it under wraps for a while he’s just a ticking time bomb and cannot be trusted.

Giving this guy a big contract with guaranteed cash is not going to make it any better either.

The coaching staff shouldn’t have to walk on egg shells when dishing out criticism.

Stone should make some quick calls and see if he can get any bites in a trade and if not, cut him.

 

You don't know anything, you have no clue what was said, who said it, and what the reaction should be, you are just anti-KPJ....I as a Rockets fan want the best for the team - and know that losing causes problems and blow ups.

Clearly you have not led anything - when you get that experience, you will understand.
