Jalen Green has played 20 games so far, here is a look at his first 10 games vs. his last 10 games

These "losers" are going to hand him hopefully another star in the draft that can elevate him even further. Then after that Kyrie's crazy ass and Harden/Durant's old legs will deliver even more years down the road.

 

Green just blows past his defenders over and over again. I kind of feel bad for people who don't understand what kind of athleticism Green has and reduces it to "oooo, wow, cool he can jump high."

Now that he is learning how to draw contact he will average 20 ppg + the rest of the season on good efficiency and relatively low usage.

 

Yeah his first step is really impressive. It's nice that he's actually getting calls, I don't know if it's anything he's changed in the way he draws/forces contact or if it's just that the refs are actually calling it now. But earlier in the season he was blowing by his defender regularly and then jumping straight into rim protectors with no call. Now he's getting those calls.

It's a tragedy he wasn't there getting meaningless wins against okc 2x, Pelicans who literally gave up, and the tanking magic. I'm sure we will beat a team like the mighty Hornets soon, go off on a team like Chicago, go up against a nets team without irving/durant/LMA and that will completely change the trajectory of everything.

Yeah he is slowing down a tad right before he jumps so he isn't jumping out of control. He understands his first step is quick enough to gain the leverage he needs to draw contact

Edit: he is slowing down after his first quick step then he makes a decision to body bump or accelerate more based on the defenders position. Sorry, typing on my phone on the toilet lmao

After a great efficient offensive game from Green where every other Rockets player are just ******** the bed, I am glad that's your take away.

I really am not mad, I think he played well on offense again, and poorly on defense - but I honestly do not understand why we are getting run so badly now that Porter and Green are back in the starting lineup.

Mathews and Brooks are not great players, not better than them but the team overall is way better with them in the lineup......

Just one more thing for our young guys to learn.

Matthews is a very good player when he was on, he ain't Jesus Christ. He has been non impactful after his initial run

 

Green was good on offense tonight and it is super encouraging.

Going forward I want to see more plays for jalen like tonight. Really like how aggressive he was when he was involved.
