Come on, everyone knows why this isn't as interesting. Mark Foley was a hypocrite. He got caught by his own law. Harry Reid would never make a stand against taking bribes. He can't be a hypocrite. Honestly though, Harry Reid has always been a crooked politician. Even if this allegation doesn't stick, it's only buying him time. He'll get caught eventually. Just like no one was suprised when Tom Delay was caught, no one should be suprised when Reid is caught.

Yeah if Reid never existed there would be no division between Senate Democrats and Republicans. It's all his fault.
Muerto Harry Reid.. Yes I criticized Reid for ending the filibuster on nominees and predicted it would hurt Democrats in the long run. That said there was a context for doing so given unprecedented obstruction from GOP Senators at the time. What Reid did then looks rather tame compared to the other changes we've seen to Senate rules brought about by the Mitch McConnell Senate.
