It just means we are only willing to play one center at all times, and Wood takes up more minutes. We were running some Wood and Sengun lineups a couple of games ago, but Silas seems to have given that up.

And Sengün was a surprise to the Front Office, his development was clearly placed behind KPJ and Green‘s in terms of priority.

They had to find minutes for him because he was such a positive in advanced stats.

Then Stone should be fired as well. (not that it happens)

No way Stone is not in on this, Silas listens to Stone.

Maybe that was only situational to the Lakers game, because LAL played no center that game,,,Lebron was the center.

It’s not a narrative, he is the future or should be rather.
He’s learning how to contribute in an inconsistent role coming off the bench. Some is due to his foul rate, some is due to Silas playing his “gut”.
Sengun has earned and deserves the same attention and time Green has, who has only recently been a somewhat positive.

Sorry but your identity politics have absolutely no bearing on reality.
You're not the first to blindly overvalue a player because you identify with him someway and then repeated fault others when your hero falls short of your exaggerated expectations.
But in the end that won't change what Sengun is, or will be, one iota.

So sadly you guys are inevitably going to be left to keep looking...and blaming...and denying, because reality refused to cooperate with your fantasy.

Like I said, we've seen this movie before.

    Just playing devil's advocate.

Edit: 34to11 post purposefully edited to play devil's advocate.

What in the hell are you blabbering on about?
You can literally say the same thing about Green, he hasn’t lived up to his draft status one iota in a short sample size.
Does that mean he is what he is? Or does that only apply to Sengun?
You are a try hard, pompous blowhard. One rookie on this team is leading in every analytical statistic you can find.
The fact you can’t see the upside says more about your “identity politics” than anything. Whatever the hell you mean about that.

Green and Sengun are the future, period. Green has a lot farther to go to be an all around player. But he can be a stud offensively to make an impact. Sengun does more, that’s ok. You can’t see past your bias apparently.

Strange how your every exchange about Şengün, in a thread ostensibly about Şengün, reverts back to you pointing at Green despite the fact that, again, my comments said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Green.
Are you that unfocused or is the agenda that irrepressible?

It seems you guys just can't help revealing yourselves can you?
I'm not surprised though. Once again, seen this movie before.

And I do think once his English improves, he can assert himself better and he could talk through tactical plays with the coaching staff more quickly.

Cannot help myself wondering if the language barrier could also have been a problem.

Maybe this is a JVG/Mirsad Turkcan thing.

    "Him not 3. Him 4."
    "You 3, me fired."
