a silas stinker tonight. not that i care that much but running 4 guards and wood in the starting lineup is a disaster.
Thank you! Missed the beginning of the second quarter and couldn't hear any of the game sound here so I didn't know.
Feel like if we had any other coach tonight we would win lol If silas doesn't get fired anytime soon, Hopefully he enters the covid protocol.
I can't get over that he lets his young team get beat the hell up and disrespected by refs. Letting it go forever is not the way. Letting KPJ take techs for you is not ok. John Lucas can clap and say go team just as easily as Silas. He's gotta stand up for his team. I really don't mind losses this year. I do mind getting stiff armed by terrible calls and I super duper mind Silas not having the fortitude to tell the refs about the place where the sun doesn't shine.
Yeah, as I already said, I missed the beginning of the second quarter. Left to get drinks after the end of the first and didn't get back until midway through the second. It was an honest mistake! Really! It's my own fault for not watching the game at home like I normally do.
It’s a big joke that we treat our 2nd pick player like 2nd round players. When the last time Rockets get the top 2 pick player? But we treat him like trash player. Smh.
Stone is in on this, but I guess he would sacrifice Stephen if his job is threatened. Silas was always the temporary coach, it looks bad now that he did such a mediocre job at developing.
If the Sengun minutes monitoring mafia actually understood there's 82 games in a season and 6 fouls per game you wouldnt assume this.
Yeah we need a coach who lets him foul out in the second period or who lets him die on the second half of a b2b like he did against the Knicks when he was a disaster. Sengun is actually already nearing his total minutes played all of last season. We're not even halfway done. Minutes mafia morons - doesn't matter if Sengun has 8 fouls or a broken ankle.
Yeah, we need a coach who doesn't let him play through his mistakes to learn or just pulls him early when he is being productive like most of the season on which he has been a great success for a rookie via most statistics. Sengun is actually played way more games than all of last season (35 games in the NBA vs. 29 in the Turkish league) and yet he hasn't hit his total minutes played (644 NBA vs. 821 Turkey). He averaged 28.3 minutes per game in Turkey versus his current 18.4 in the NBA while being productive most of the games and we're not even halfway done. Silas overbearing protective morons - doesn't matter if Sengun is productive most of the time on the court or has to work through his mistakes as a rookie like Jalen Green has been allowed to do.
Yeah no the "hurt baby" interpretation of why Sengun gets sat after picking up 3 fouls in 9 frst half minutes is not the proper interpretation. He is not coming out of the game as punishment to make you a hurt baby. He is coming out because he is a valuable player who the Rockets can't afford to lose. Depending on injury, he is often the only offensive creator available in most bench units. Unlike a LeBron or Harden, in the unusual circumstance of them getting into foul trouble, but instead play through it, there is no reason to believe Sengun has this ability, as excessive fouling is his default state, and officials don't cut him any breaks. Btw good comparison on Jalen Green (1.9 fouls/36) and Sengun (6.0)
Yeah no the "Silas needs to be fired" interpretation of why Sengun only plays 18.4 minutes per game in the NBA regardless of averaging 3.1PF in that time is definitely not the proper interpretation. He is coming out of the game because Silas sucks as a coach. Unlike a Lebron or Harden, in the unusual circumstance of being given a chance like Jalen Green to play through his mistakes, Sengun has this ability to be sent to the bench regardless of allowing him to play so officials eventually start to give him some respect. Does me saying Silas needs to be fired make you a hurt baby?
