I don't know what game you were watching. Green was the least of this team's defensive concerns today.
this should never happen on a professional bb team... i hate it so much even if its a streetball i stop playing
Missing those Harden years. These past 2 seasons have been really tough to watch. Can't remember the last time it felt like this. Damn u ferntits
He got in foul trouble by reaching, needs to smarten up....so he can stay on the floor. I know a lot of you can't take criticism of your woobie....but it is all for the best. DD
He got in foul trouble because of bogus calls. You are not watching the same game as us. Get your eyes checked
Then he'll be gone sooner than later and that will be the end of it. Jalen Green will be what he is, and KPJ for better or worse isnt going to stop that. Hear me out though. His first year in the league, he has had like a TS of like what 53 his first two years in the league. Now he's been given a new role and its been lowered massively. I think , he just a needs one more off season and this year to really adjust. Next year will truly be his actual third year in the league and I think than we can evaluate it then.
45 percent from three this month coming in to the game tonight. It was only his misses in the second half tonight that made his shooting stats look bad he had shot over 55 percent from three in 2 of his past 3 games. 4 of his last 8 games he has shot 40 percent or better from three
He didn’t play earlier in the season when we first played the Pistons in Houston. I would know, I was there and I was disappointed. I think he was sick (non-Covid)
Cavs had him as a low usage SF off the bench getting the majority of his buckets assisted here he is used as an off-brand Great Value James Harden…many of y’all act like he can be our PG no way u can have a PG with his shooting ability and level of inefficiency
You have a knack for taking extreme positions that are almost nonsensical. There were two clear bright spots tonight, and Green was one of them. Yes he got in foul trouble early, but he wasn't some serious liability like you were making him out to be. Also, foul trouble as evidence of poor defense? Do you think players that average 2 fouls a game are suddenly hallmarks of a great defender as well? If you actually watched the game, you would realize two of his fouls came as an offensive foul, which is why he had to leave the court. That had nothing to do with defense. At least try with your arguments, it's almost insulting replying to this.
If it makes you feel any better, I don’t think 2021 Harden on this team would be a real contender anyway.
I honestly can't remember the last time it was this fun to be a Rockets fan. I find great reward in the process and thrilled to have that expedited with such a young team. To each their own I guess.
he had 37/37/60 shooting splits his past 6 games which is what u wanted to use in the other thread…in no world is that shooting great and after that 8-17 and 5-9 from deep last game that propped up his percentages, he was back to normal tonight bad shooter started bricking in the 2nd half like he typically does
Props for the fake comeback. I wanted that 3 from Gordy to cut it to a 2 pt game with 4 mns to go......but alas, it was not to be. I did learn that Brooks cannot ‘push-off’ on Guy ......BUT Butler CAN push off on Green. FU BUTLER. I’m glad they made it interesting late.
I'm glad to see Jalen Green bad three point games, don't always mean bad FG overall games. he is getting better shots and his drives are good to watch. 4 straight games with 45 percent or better from the field and 7 of his last 8 games have been 42 percent or better
