Gimmie a break, you can see the difference you just don't want to acknowledge it. This disappeared from the news cycle in the blink of an eye. It was swept away and forgotten by main stream media, even when covered it was done in a way to downplay the motivation behind it, like when CNN said in a (since deleted) tweet that a "car drove through a Christmas Day parade" without even acknowledging the driver. This simply does not fit leftist narratives, and you know it. For once in your life, think for yourself.
what is it i dont want to acknowledge? not true. it was headline news for the better part of a week. i saw it all over tv and internets. what was the motivation behind the murders? the only ones i see focused on any "narrative" are people like yourself who are desperate to make this about politics. the entire premise of your arguments here are false. the media covered this and there is no known political motivation on the part of the psychotic murderer. its so weird that yall are trying to do this. also, in what way did you want CNN to acknowledge the driver? what exactly did they fail to do in their tweet? heres the actual tweet - i cant believe this is what has yall so upset! they said "a car" instead of "a man in a car". ooohhh noooo! lol! what a snowflake! and i guess you never actually clicked on the link b/c the headline in the article reads... Waukesha held a moment of silence Sunday, one week after a man plowed a vehicle through a Christmas parade by the way, this tweet was not "since deleted". i got it right off their twitter page. lol. lol.
This is very true. Some people are so incredibly sensitive and snowflakey that they are looking for things with which to take issue. They find them where they simply don't exist.
I am amused by the misuse of the word snowflake by known snowflakes to call out people who they disagree with. Libs appropriate everything don't they?
Darrell Brooks pled not guilty to 77 charges, including six homicide charges The man accused of killing 6 people at a Waukesha Christmas parade pleads not guilty https://www.npr.org/2022/02/11/1080176962/darrell-brooks-christmas-parade-waukesha-plea
Anyone been following this trial? One of the highlights of the trials was when the ******* in the face mask accusing one of the jurors of flipping him off. Why is he allowing to act like this and making the mockery out of the courtroom?
I haven’t been following it, but came across this: https://www.fox6now.com/news/darrell-brooks-trial-what-brooks-told-fbi-agents-after-attack Brooks tossed from court "Are you holding me in contempt?" Brooks asked the judge. Dorow noted Brooks interrupted 10 times before 10:19 a.m. "This does not include the commentary under his breath related to a variety of topics," said Dorow. The judge noted Brooks "objected to every question by the state, and when the court overruled, his commentary became much more audible, clearly showing disrespect for the court and proceedings." "It has been very apparent that any time the jury has been brought in, Brooks has accused the court of misconduct or bias," said Dorow. "This court is not doing any such thing. He has forfeited his right to be present." Dorow addressed Brooks' question of contempt, noting that he faces the possibility of life in prison and "contempt is not a viable path for the court." "It would allow him to profit from his own wrongdoing. There would be a delay in the proceedings. That is not something this court is even willing to do," said Dorow.
That judge has the patient of a saint. I feel really bad for her that she has to deal with this psychotic child. It’s never a good idea to represent yourself and not knowing the proper pronunciation for the word “ask” in a courtroom.
Agreed on the judge. On the pronunciation of "ask", apparently "ax" goes way, way back: https://www.rd.com/article/pronouncing-ask-ax/
This is why judges strongly advise people against representing themselves. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
I remember a few years ago there was a mass shooting on a Long Island express train and the defendent there represented himself and did similar things. It did not go well for that defendent.
What an idiot. He deserves it. He will rot in prison for disregarding human lives like its nothing. I wonder if the results will be the same had he gotten a lawyer?
Given his behavior a lawyer might've been able to try an insanity defense but those are notoriously very hard to get. The evidence seemed pretty strong against this guy so he probably still is found guilty. I think a lawyer could possibly help in the penalty phase.
