in November, the pro-COVID governor signed four bills into law curtailing both mask and vaccine mandates. This was his last public appearance Since then, Florida has hit a new record for daily COVID cases last weekend, with the state reporting 32,850 new cases on Saturday 'Where is Ron DeSantis now?' Florida mayor slams governor amid new omicron variant surge Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings (D) during a press conference said counties have not received funding from the state for COVID-19 testing and questioned why DeSantis has been largely absent as the omicron variant has quickly become the dominant strain in Florida. “We have not received any assistance from the state of Florida at our testing sites,” he said. “Our residents, all Florida residents, should be outraged and they should ask the question, 'Where is our state?, Where is our governor?, Where is Ron DeSantis now?'” when the going gets tough, Ted Cruz / the pro-COVID governor, and those of their ilk, go into hiding
Omicron is a good thing. And de Santis is a good man. Looking forward to going to Florida soon. Which part of Florida are you referring to? I am intending to move there.
I was in Miami Beach a few weeks back It was awesome . Super clean, clear water. Then I headed to the little Havana district for Cuban food and music and it was fantastic.
The reality with Covid is that these draconian and illiberal measures only delay the inevitable, if even that. Just delays the peaks. Florida, like Sweden, will have higher natural immunity. Protect the elderly and vulnerable and somehow try to contain it to levels so that the healthcare system doesn't get overwhelmed; other than that, you kind of have to let it rip through. You will have the SamFishers of the world hate on you when your numbers are temporarily higher than elsewhere - of course they will not say anything when your numbers are much lower than elsewhere at other times. Omicron will help end the pandemic.
That's opposite of us. You should get a good view of SpaceX launches, especially at night. Even being on the west we get good views.
Don’t go to Boca bro. I have 2 sisters living in that areas for years. They both moved up just a little north, one to Boyton Beach and the other to Lake Worth. The West Palm Beach, Boca, Boyton Beach, Lake Worth etc.. are expensive and crowded. You must explore the Tampa Bay Area, currently I’m living in Sarasota but looking for my next home either in St Pete, Tampa, Clear Water, Apollo Beach, Brandon and Ruskin. Other than the overhyped and overpriced Sarasota, The Tampa Bay Area is nice and reasonably affordable. You’re making a wise decision moving to my state. I would welcome you with open arms. Freedom baby!
Except we have nearly 2 years worth of data now to account for all the peaks and valleys, and it consistently shows that the worst hit states and the highest death totals are in the states without many restrictions. Sweden already admitted their strategy failed and their case and death rates were much worse than all their neighbors.
Thank you. Expensive isn't really a problem. Where we would go, it wouldn't be too crowded. There are a couple of very good schools there.
, a non-scientist using words that he doesn't understand! Swedish Prime Minister Admits Strategy to Stop Virus Fell Short Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said his government should have taken more aggressive steps and moved more quickly to stop the spread of the pandemic, and he takes full responsibility for the initial strategy that led the country to suffer a disproportionately high number of deaths. In an interview with Dagens Nyheter, Lofven said the government’s response to the spread of the virus inadequate, and that testing should have begun earlier.
Dang she looking nice with that Florida glow! @Jontro @Space Ghost @Os Trigonum https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-branded-hypocrite-dining-maskless-Miami.html U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was seen having a maskless meal in Miami Beach, Florida, on Thursday
