It shows how a player truly views what matters when it comes to winning...stats. All about his stats, not all of the simple s**t that everybody knows he needs to do, and at this point clearly never will.

It's legit 2K mycareer for Westbrook.

Proof of how clueless he is.

    Points. Rebounds. Assists.

In his world that’s what makes a great player.

I am not someone that has a really high opinion of Dwight Howard as a competitor.... Kobe Bryant, James Harden and Steve Nash all called him a clown and didn't like playing with him.

However, the reality is that Howard stopped being dominant in large part because of his back injury with the Lakers. The Rockets did not get the same player that Howard was in Orlando. McHale is an ******* but he really understands post play at a very high level and he even said that Dwight Howard did not get post touches or plays ran for him as often as the Rockets liked because he could not move or bend well enough after the back injury.

Howard deserves some credit for continuing to have a career.... that injury made a pronounced difference in how Howard could move and defend. He could still get rebounds and block shots but not the other stuff.

Thanks for that tidbit of information.

Even at his zenith in Orlando he wasn't an Offensive genius, he got his dunks, he got his hook shots, runners......his absolute best was 22.9 ppg which would be a low for someone like Harden, or if you want a post player Shaq or the Dream.

He dominated on Defense mostly and had shooters around him .....and players like Rashard Lewis, Turkeyglue, Ryno.....

JVG for example established Yao as the low post threat and he had a stretch of 25-26 ppg. Absolute dominance.

    Dominated Howard on both ends.

You can compile a Shaqtin the Fool highlight wheel based on Westbrook alone.

How do u try to bank in a shot from midrange, but hit the top of the backboard instead? That was 1 of the funniest misses I’ve seen

He was a quick wiry athletic freak before that and a shell afterward. I heavily watched him with the Magic so when the Rockets had the chance to get him I was ecstatic but with the back situation I have it became quickly apparent that player was gone. He was so good that early on he could overcome being goofy but once that athleticism was tanked it was a grind with too many mistakes with poor IQ. I think that is why I love watching Embiid so much. I know we will never get another Dream but I look at players that have amazing physical gifts but they are just missing that special part that Dream and Jordan had.

Russ gonna Russ. We knew he was gonna wreck them with his 1 in 5 games. He is a player that could be valuable if he shot 10 times, stop being reckless, and gave a **** on D but he is going to shoot 15-20 and especially in the 4th when he is gassed and his legs are gone so he misses everything. Horrible example of a player that relied on athleticism and never tried to grow out of it.

Only blocking him was the rim.

True, but he didn't get the touches because Harden wasn't giving it to him. lol Not because he was injured. He wasn't the center piece of any team after leaving here but he still went on to have a good HOF career rebounding and deflecting shots for other teams. Most players did better leaving Harden.

He didn't get post-ups/touches because Daryl said they were as efficient as Shaq shooting free throws with his eyes closed.

Harrell, Williams, Pat Bev, Howard, even his boy Tucker.

Not in the sense they are playing better but in the sense that they have been able to flourish in situations that don't involve the cancer known as Harden.

That's what Harden told Morey to tell him. How would Morey or Harden know they never even sniffed a Finals let alone carry a team there. Harden should have worked around Dwight not the other way around. Howard and Smith had to rally the Rockets back against the Clippers it wasn't cause of Hardens leadership or skillfull play that series.
