CWOOD HATE? I just read another thread and people are all but blaming C Wood for the lose. Sure he played poor defense but from the game I saw....it wasn't just him! Players weren't switching, players weren't communicating, players were taking bad angels and to top it off, I just heard Silas's Postgame and he said during the halftime, he talked to the players about REBOUNDING, NOT DEFENSE! Which to me, was why they were down. Also, to make matters even more worse, nothing was said about the poor defense during the Postgame coverage. To me the Rockets look like they are totally out of place of Defense, AS A TEAM AND NOT JUST CWOOD.
…Clickbait style forum threads? but more seriously, to tldr my earlier posts, it’s not that that I hate him but he just doesn’t fit with this squad and doesn’t impart any good habits on our rookies and young guys. Tate and even EGo can teach our young guys something of value but Wood seems to be only in it for himself, despite saying the right things when he’s interviewed. ALSO: He needs to hustle on the boards more
CW makes it impossible to play D as a team. Not only does his play prevent any chance of functioning together as a cohesive unit on that side of the ball, but unfortunately that kind of play is contagious. He possesses so many bad habits that run with his attitude...needs to be gone soon..for the sake of the youngins, as well as what we can get for him.
I don't sense that. I understand players disagree on the floor all the time but the only time I've seen him disagree with a player on the court was with Green a few games back. What other instances have you seen?
I hate his effort level on the defensive end. Gets a highlight block once every 6 games then goes back to being burned by everybody
Ingenious, now that you mentioned it. Wood is the most inconsistent veteran on this team, and he does not even win you that many games by himself. He is moving like a hampered praying mantis. On Defense.
He is a highly skilled role player......a complimentary piece......very valuable. We should keep him. Just to piss off all you casuals... DD
You people give me a headache Post Game comments are/can be different than next day film session. Some of you just need to stay in your morning office meetings where what's said stays said. Things change minute to minute at the NBA hard court office.
