for the record: I am strongly against testosterone shots, as the evidence for severe health side-effects is indisputable. My personal belief is you become a man through struggles, not through chemical supplementation.
ha! what I said is fairly non-controversial and I meant it. Yet, I was fully aware that the subtext is tendentious and would rile people up.
Barkley has been playing one for years at TNT. One poster has pointed it out, I think he has a problem speaking clearly.
I think constructive criticism is necessary, but what I find really disgusting is that Green's haters disappear when the boy has a good game. I understand and share criticism when it is justified, but you cannot be so miserable not to praise the boy when his performance deserves it. Stop being stupid please!
Back to back 20+ games on excellent efficiency! Now granted, this was against shitty defensive teams but Jalen’s shot is looking better and his decision making is improving as well—as is his ability to play though a slow start. If he can string together a few more games like these last ones then I can’t see anybody being upset at our draft choice. Kid is showing some microwave-like tendencies!
Adversity fuels him and KPJ, that is a good sign actually. I am not a soft koolaid drinker, I believe he will rise to the occasion, I am more worried about the structure of the team. It is still far away, couple of good games do not change it. The versatility of Mobley on D is double rare and cannot be undone by pure Offense. I am still of the opinion that the Rockets should have taken someone who was more of a 2 way player, it is important once you are a Playoff contender.
Unless he wins a championship here no matter what happens they will be here to point out his failures every single time like the miserable peeps they are.
Green & KPJ both had great games and stat lines. These are the games you want to start seeing and building on Give these boys consistent playing time & a consistent rotation with a group and we will have a scary backcourt in a couple years
I agree 100%. I thought beyond that both of them played hard. If Green masters that pull up from the mid range (CP3-style) , he's going to be hell to deal with. I like the strong drives to the hole as well. The youngins didn't shy away from the contact either. CWood drove me nuts being soft but other than that no complaints with the effort. Again another strong game to build on.
