Yeah I don't get it at all, that Spanish national team must have a VERY specific scheme that hides all of his weaknesses because so far he looks scrub tier to me.

Watch his G league highlights and remember that he's like 500 days away from buying his own beer. If it were up to me he'd be a Viper until next season. The speed of the NBA is clearly overwhelming him but he was playing well at RGV from what I saw. Sporadic minutes on the basis of necessity isn't helping him much.

 

I maintain that in these situations where there's so many players out we should give Wall a run out. He wants to play, if everybody's on the sidelines anyway it's hardly going to mess with their playing time. It's a win-win all round, he gets to play and showcase himself to potential suitors (what he wants,) we get an actual basketball player on the court, and it's only when all of our players are out. Instead we'll probably sign some G-league kid to a 10 day and have more people running around stinking up the court.

Are you sure Tatum didn't accidentally throw the ball into his arm whilst he was waving it around trying to figure out where he was?

 

I'll counter that with a "he shouldn't even be allowed to sit on the bench".

my scrub detector goes off when Garuba steps foot on the court…it does that with like 70% of the roster tho tbf to him

 

Gonna have to disagree with you there, Wall is easily better to watch then the majority of our players. I actually find it laughable how low y'all rate him, he's not the all-star he once was but he's hardly a scrub. I'd watch a Wall/Sengun 2 man game every time over watching Nix, Brooks, Queen, Garuba, Augustin, Theis and Nwaba.

 

Then you're going to watch John Wall ignore Sengun to go crashing into 3 defenders, chuck up a miss and beg for calls.

Pretty sure there's a thread about it last year when he did it to Wood.

 

I bet that hurt like hell getting nailed right in the face by that basketball.

 

I think people just got tired of Wall playing the one-man game

Again, gonna have to disagree with you. One year compared to every other year he played (often being one of the elite tier of assist makers) is not really a good argument. Wall plays point so much better than literally every person on our roster that it actually comes across as disingenuous when people makes statements like the one you just did. It's like y'all live in bizarroworld.

 

Whilst averaging more assists than anybody currently playing on our team? Sounds legit.

 

We told you this team stinks.

 

Imagine if you switched their positions. Wood passes the ball off the front of the rim and it rebounds straight to one of their players who scores an uncontested 3 in transition.
