Wife and I binged the whole thing yesterday before and after football. Sadly, all the reveals were already spoiled so those moments weren't as big a deal as they should have. That being said, enjoyable series but I'm glad we waited to watch it all at once. First two episodes were a little slow for a six episode series.....
My favorite part of the last episode is the tracksuits who were always carrying guns suddenly switched to swords to fight Jack. Awful sporting of ‘em!
Pretty decent in my opinion. A lot of goofy moments. Hawkeye with the LARPers was a highlight to me. The last episode fight got a little too cheesy with Jack swordfighting, tracksuit bros being stormtroopers, Hawkeye stuck in the tree, etc.. Yelena and Kate interactions were fun.
I don't think any of the Disney+ shows are intended to be required to follow the MCU movies. Things happen but I don't think the next major multiverse threatening event will hinge on you understanding details of the life of Hawkeye's sidekick. I've watched all of them but just think of them as tv shows. Some of them, like Loki, may serve as explainers but I wouldn't worry about it, even some of the smaller movies aren't necessary to understand the team up movies.
i think loki and blek cap is vital to the next avengers team up movie, and to an extent wanda. i'll watch legolas if it plays a part in the movies, if not, his character kinda suxs. plus jems hardon said he aint even dat good
hawkeye more than Black Widow. The whole arrow gimmick is stupid in the world of guys that can snap half the universe away.
Spoiler I don't read the comics - can someone give me a heads up on Kingpin. Does he have super powers? How come he can withstand arrows penetrating him, but also the 'too dangerous' explosion arrows blowing up right at his feet leaving him with little more than a scratch etc. And ripping the car door off and flinging it away?
+1 The MCU tends to follow the main Marvel Comics characters but in this case it looks like they’re giving Kingpin super strength and durability that he doesn’t have in the comics. Spiderverse is an amazing movie anyway and should be watched by any film fan. It’s not MCU canon but then again with the multiverse anything is possible.
