Silas did not adjust in 4th when Pacers went to zone.

    Until then, game was winnable.

I want turner and or donatas. Pacers are tearing it all down. Let's pillage them. Odds of getting Smith in lotto is a pipe dream. I say cash in and get either miles or sabonis to pair next to sengun. Oh well. Won't happen. But just throwing out an idea.

    You must check again.

    - Sengun boxes the opposing bigs out instead of going for the rebound.
    - Sengun frequently tips the ball to a guard for faster offense.
    - The majority of Sengun's rebounds are contested.
    - Offensive rebounds:
    3rd: Sengun with1.7/gm in 18.7 min.
    2nd: Tate with 1.8/gm in 27.5 min.
    1st: Wood with 2.0/gm in 31.5 min.
(Sengun leads the team in and-1's)

Something is off about the team when Green plays. Like they phase him out and then stop passing. was eager to see how thing would be with him in the lineup with Wood at the 5. We been basically averaging 25 assists since thanksgiving and last night we had our lowest assist total in two months with 16. Jalen was wide open or calling for the balls for some ball action and Gordon was ignoring and passing it to wood for some funky ass weak iso. I notice this before Jalen went down but just figured it was a spacing issue or what not but then it popped up again. When Green is in the floor it’s like the other players get this sensation to jack up shots or get selfish. Not sure if they’re intimidated by Jalen or what his future represents but it’s issue. Even DJ Augustine was missing reads and passes last and jacking up shots and yelling ISO’s

I was watching Heat-Pistons match during Rockets match' breaks and the complete 4th quarter when the former match ended.

Yurtseven got 4th consecutive 12+ rebounds coming from the bench. Sengun started to become better rebounder (I count tippings also even we don't see in stats sheet) but still not in Yurt7 level. It is clear that Sengun voyage will end up being a player (hopefully) similar to Chris Webber-Tim Duncan type of player but he needs Webber's Divac or Duncan's Robinson. Or if they insists him to play stretch-5, they need a strong power forward similar to Carlos Boozer who can automatically score.

It will help a lot to Sengun's rebounding.

I concur... but Boozer was a lazy ballhog who shouted "aaand one!" at his own misses. Didn't play defense a lick. Biggest con of the NBA.

I hated Boozer also but he was a scoring machine and his size/presence was helping centers to go beyond the arc. There is no big power forward in Rockets squad if Wood or Sengun happens to be in outer zone. You need at least 6'8" big body second player around, preferably taller. Otherwise it becomes too easy for rivals to deal in pivot area.

Silas or the next coach will figure out to play two bigs, it is inevitable. Until then we will suffer a lot similar to last night loss.

I understand why Green got only 25 minutes as it was his first game back from a hamstring strain.

But WTF is Sengun still getting 20 minutes? For the life of me I will not understand this.

That Boozerah was pretty good, just unlikable.

Could roll, could shoot the midrange, could pass.

It would help greatly for there to be some PRACTICE time for the two to work together positively. They’re trying. THEIS SHOULD have received some minutes last night, early in 4th.

Too many young’ns to get enough court time per game. THOUGHT: stagger games in which the players get extended minutes.

Augustine had a bad game. I know he plays pretty well occasionally, but I’d rather give J-Gup his minutes when KPJ gets back.

I didn’t watch the game but Green dropped 20 on his return? Is this a positive going forward? Can we get another streak going or is the tank still rolling on?

Agreed. If we weren’t in full tank mode before, we should be now. Trade Gordan and Augustine at a minimum and go all young. They can start to develop chemistry for next year when we, hopefully, will sign a stud big man. In 2023, we will have an incredible amount of assets to trade for a superstar if need be.

not having a true pg hurts in that situation.

I've noticed it with Wood especially. He had more or less gotten away from the perimeter isos when Green went out and all of a sudden he's back on his bull****. Not that he was the only only one but the most evident in my eyes
