It was the play late in the game where Wood catches the ball wide on the wing with Turner in front of him. He pump fakes twice, then when Turner closes on him, throws up some weak sauce airball and complains about the foul call.

Jalen probably said "pass it man".
Which is what everyone on the team should be saying to Wood AS SOON AS he pulls down a defensive rebound.

Hopefully we can get some value for him - he's good, but not great.

He really does not belong on a rebuilding team. Trade him asap.

Automatically assuming the teenager is in right is silly.

And I saw Gerald scolding the other youngster too.

    Whole lot of nothing.

Just part of the truthers trade Wood narrative, where normal things are world enders.

Wood does not have the jump shot of someone who should be shooting 60% from the line

Wood is basically an inefficient big man who can’t hit his free throws? Then this dude will have the nerve, the unmitigated gall, to talk about needing the rock more?

take his 20 and 10 or whatever he puts up in all these L’s, crumple it up, and toss it in the dumpster out back

I think Wood is trying to be the man too much here. He's not that guy.

He would look good on a team like Golden State, Clippers with Kawhi, Nets, or even Boston...IMO

If he went to those teams and just played his role, he'd easily be an all star.

Well he was the worst FT shooter in the NBA, now he's in the... bottom 10?
    I don't know.
    Improvement.
No more "lonely at the bottom", no more "king of the hole".

A little bit tired of his schtick.

The guy is fully capable of being an impact defender, but the immaturity and inconsistency keep him from being the two-way C he should be.

And for god sakes, maybe hit the weight-room this summer? How many years are you going to hang out in the NBA and train/look like Snoop Dogg?

Lack of leadership - that is what is going on,......too many guys trying to be THE MAN - and none of them earning it yet.

Wood seems to be trying to be the guy, he is not.......the younger guys are rebelling as they don't necessarily respect Wood because he doesn't play D well.

    We lack a heirarchy.

One major problem with this team is that it does not have a best player or a player who makes others feel like things are under control when things are going bad.

Gotta sell high on this guy. No reason to keep him around. Great idea when Harden was around, but he bailed and now Wood is not good enough to make us even decent.

But they were on the defensive end of the court. Are you saying it carried all the way through the defensive possession as well?

Christian Wood only cares about his Stats for a All Star Game, smh

Jalen Green is absolutely right, Christian still believes he is in the G League, putting up Stats.

Instead of passing to a open shooter or open man.

I still want to see if KPJ is a Team Player, I believe he should be traded if he doesn't improve, so far the rockets need a real Point Guard.

Rockets have nothing but Shooting Guards on the Roster. Only DJ and Alperen can run the offense.

I think Wood can be a contributor on a championship team, where the pecking order is established and there is a solid structure in place. Here, he has free reign to do whatever he wants and oftentimes that is beneficial to his counting stats--but detrimental to the team. The plays where he barked at Brooks and Green were both after he took ill-advised shots/stopped the ball (at least, that's where I recall the timeline being at).

Age-wise I actually don't think he's far off from this team's timeline, but with a more than capable replacement in Sengun waiting in the wings I can't help but to feel the writing's on the (john) wall.

The vid has nothing to do with offense.

But don't get mad, no need to stop the steal.
