I can count known defensive players on one hand...... had to include Tate, Nwaba, EGo but too short etc.

Now and then: GMat, Armoni,.............

The others are inconsistent or not good defenders. You are just rolling with Offense.

It was good Defense during the winning streak for the most part, but I agree with the sentiment.

A roller coaster team figuring things out.......we should have moved Eric Gordon and bought out John Wall by now.

Some of the things was not just about spacing.

You could see on his stat sheet.

He was hesitant to try other things other than 3 point shooting. Or it was just one block here, one assist there, too little.

I mean you think that a 2nd pick overall had more things to offer than just that.

But yeah on a good shooting night, I am not going to say negative things now but we knew his shortcomings or the things he lacked when he was drafted.

 

Damn really wanted him to get 30

 

Nwaba needs to replace matthews. When Porter gets back i’d put EG at the 3 and play Nwaba off the bench. Matthews gives us nothing often getting blown by or lost on defense or Jacking up bad shots.

 

There's always some idiots who just cant shutup and admit he is wrong and thats what makes Clutchfans just completely unbearable at times.

 

Nwaba should be off the team fool. The Rockets need to go all in on 26 and unders and rebuild the right way. Winning while over playing vets will make us the kings and knicks.

 

We should recognize that this team has too many players with a good skillset but not enough players like Sengün that can do multiple things well, just not shooting.

I think Stone thought if he added it all up, it would win games but it does not in spades.

I think that is more relevant than CF fans beefing over favorite players.

Team needs more talent, allround talents. Stand united behind our demands for more talent.

More intelligent plays, more defensive smarts.

Augustin makes a lot of dumb passes. He is undersized and can’t get to the paint to score. But occasionally hits the 3. Wood is wood and will probably never change at this point. The ball seems to stop with him everytime and one of the most useless actions is when a player like Augustin dribble drives and kicks it back to Wood on the perimeter who then jabs steps and holds the ball. Wood can’t dribble drive on anyone in this league but yet plays primarily on the perimeter. These two are Very frustrating players to watch along with Matthews who has come down to earth being the below average player he is.

 

Your outlandish statements are telling of how little you understand of the game and what kind of a person you are, which is trash. Do me a favor and throw yourself in the garbage.

 

Senguin has to be able to hit the 3 consistently (32 percent range ) if he is going to be a 5. Rockets have got to learn how to throw the ball in the paint. And we need to trade wood while value high and draft a big 5. (even though wood is one of my favorite players. )

I stopped watching when 5 offensive players were standing in mud. I couldn't help to see so many uncontested shots in the middle. They all went back to old habit. A starter should not be scoring 3 points in 28 minutes, it is okay if he fills the other stat line in steals, rebounding, and assists, but this guy isn't. Time to remix the lineup again.

 

cWood loves to switch off his man for no reason to intentionally play the perimeter.
