would be fun to chat about glory days, but I’ll just say I went to HS in the Houston area very much in your era. It would kind of be fun to discuss where I went, but I try not to put detailed info about myself out there unless necessary. But yeah, I’m quite familiar with BHS under myrtle lee. She ran an elite program.

Yes, your HS says so much about you... Good to know you recall Myrtle.

see, this is why I don’t think you really believe what you’re saying. It’s weird sport, which is fine and all. Just a little weird.

I've shown data. You and yours always disregard it. Think about how many times CNN and MSNBC has been caught in a lie these past few years.

I'm fine owning up to mistakes. You aren't. And you need to realize that within yourself.

actually, it can. If you graduated from SJ or Kincaid, we know a lot about your likely socio-economic status as a kid and your likely financial floor 30 years from graduation. If you went to BHS in the 80s and 90s and were an honors/AP student, we know you likely auto admitted to UT and we’re likely talented enough to get into a top 25 college, both of which also help to approximate your financial floor 30 years later. The academics at those schools were arguably harder than UT undergrad. To some extent Memorial High School. And other general observations can be made about other schools, although probably less reliably.

if there was data, I missed it. I saw a YouTube video.
Or we have very different definitions of “data”.

it gets old shaming the same people over and over. Especially when they have a humiliation fetish and keep coming back for more..

You guys sure do love feeding the trolls. They bite every time too..it's like a strange dance of humiliation.
I'm all for it past the volume posting and overall lowering of the bar. Like in this case the debate is to put on a clown mask and call it antifa. I mean what are we doing here?

This site is more troll fed than nextdoor. And that place is chock full of qanon grandmas

q anon grandmas. Hadn’t heard that one yet. I’ll use it in casual conversation going forward. See, there is value in this sport.

Haha you should get on next door.

What is the sport in engaging bad takes and troll posts?
It's like do you also argue with flat earthers?

Do your thing lol but dunking on a drunk guy seems kinda excessive and cringe

youre actually going to post this after you kept saying antifa was responsible for the insurrection and never provided any facts or data or evidence. then finally you posted a youtube video of a dude saying "im not antifa". that was the only piece of evidence you provided to back up your claim that antifa was responsible for the insurrection.

    you havent though.

    youre not though.

EDIT: i know ive said it before, but ill say it again. fatty is one of my all-time favorite posters on clutch fans. in terms of entertainment value who is better??? he puts himself out there, including his identity and photos of him with middle age hotties. he posts at 3am on a tuesday to tell us which former high school classmate he hooked up with or is about to hook up with. he wears his heart on his sleeve, doesnt take crap from anybody and doesnt apologize for it...i admire him in a way. which is why im so disappointed to see him doing whatever he is doing now. crass and outrageous as he may be, ive always thought of fatty as an honest dude with integrity. i hate to say...but i just dont know what to think anymore. im questioning everything i thought i knew.:oops::oops:

I do learn stuff in D and D. People post things I would never think to consider, read or view. Or people post stuff that articulates things that are consistent with my views, but provide more detail or better analysis.

I don’t really think I’m going to change his mind, or get him to admit he really doesn’t believe what he is posting. I dont know that I’m dunking on anyone, or that he’s drunk. I don’t think he thinks he’s being dunked on. But maybe he’s learning something too. Who knows.

Learning stuff and troll feeding are 2 different things...and I can't change your mind from feeding trolls and walking them through a humiliation dance.

When it is flat earth level stuff and most importantly bad faith then well ..why? It's cringe
    And

    It overall lowers the bar.
All fine perhaps while some good posters are banned. Wash rinse repeat and keep lowering.

    Go team go

Should be easy for you to say what it was that he did then.
I don't think there were any insurrectionists. I think there were rioters, thieves, and trespassers. Each should be punished according to their culpability. The trespassers, by the way, are the ones that were just walking around. Like zip-tie guy.
Yes, mostly related to entering the Capitol illegally and having a taser inside. In other words, walking around with a taser.
No, I think they are way overcharging him. I agree with the facts presented though. As I said, his conduct was recorded.
The weapons they didn't take into the Capitol? Yeah, I'm pretty sure they didn't intend to take them into the Capitol or use them in the Capitol. Owning weapons is not illegal.
I know I keep saying this but there were rioters in the Capitol that battered police officers. There were people who stole computers. There were people that caused great bodily injury. Those people should be getting hefty prison sentences. Guys like this, who committed the heinous crime of walking around and looking at stuff, picking up discarded plastic zip-ties, should get credit for time served on a misdemeanor trespass.

    The definition of insurrection:

This article lists out the charges against 714 people as of December 14: https://www.insider.com/all-the-us-capitol-pro-trump-riot-arrests-charges-names-2021-1. A number of insurrectionists were charged with "Entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building."

That charge sure seems to satisfy the definition of insurrection.

You defend "zip tie guy" as simply trespassing. He was dressed in military garb and a flak jacket, he brought and left firearms in a bag just outside the capital (not to mention the weapons stash at his house pictured below)

He was caught on take discussing whether to bring the guns stashed outside the capital into the capital:
Yet... zip tie guy did go into the capital with a weapon (taser).

Even the picking up of the zipties isn't as "innocent" an act as you suggest:
Sure doesn't sound like he was innocently picking up the zipties.
