The end did feel more about setting other people than anything to do with Hawkeye Spoiler YLena should have gone back to the house. . . not Kate Bishop. I think Ylena should have heard him say "She did it to bring you back" IT was right there waiting to be said and break her more than the isht Hawkeye was saying. Maybe I just wanted more Ylena than Kate Bishop and NO that OFF SCREEN BANG DID NOT HAPPEN . . . misdirection. Rocket River
It was a solid show that basically introduced new characters, further explored some other ones, reintroduced old ones from the MCU, and overall was fun and worth watching. I don't think I'll be thinking about it like I did for Loki or Wandavision after today. It's a million times better than the Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Yeah, the good bits of the series was the fan service and Kate Bishop’s chemistry with other characters. It was good for what it was and got better with every episode Spoiler I guess Yelenas wounds were too deep but that should've happened, esp if she wanted to know what her sister had been up to all those years
Series was good however Spoiler they bring better back the Kingpin. The Echo character plot was the weakest and yes I know it’s in the comics. Never really explained how easily Yelena believed Hawkeye was responsible for black widows death. That was a reach
Regarding your spoiler. They didn’t show it, so I’m guessing the person you referenced is alive. It was too easy, so I think it be a bit of a twist.
Good series Spoiler The finale was a little bit of a letdown after all of the buildup. Maybe the Spidery 3 nerdgasm killed it for me. But the Kingpin seemed sort of...poorly acted? Seems weird because Vincent D'Onfrio always seemed like an oscar-worthy actor. Pinning it all on Kate's mom was lame and Jack the Swordsman just being a scoundrel buffoon was sort of a red herring that I didn't expect or appreciate. Fight was fun but man, so many tracksuit bros! Why was Kazi such a badass and was able to catch an arrow? What happened to the little van? Did the people get eaten? Terrible I'll give it a rewatch in a year or so and see if it plays better in a marathon setting. Good show, it was turning into the best Disney+ MCU show but the last episode knocked it back below Loki IMO. No way Kingpin is dead. Bring on Moon Knight!
I thought the only people on Vormir were Widow, Clint, and the goofy ghost of Red Skull Did Red Skull tell Kramer first ?
Nah, I think Elaine just made it up using the facts at hand, to get Yelena to join her squad of B-Team heroes. Hawkeye the show never followed-up on it though. It would have made more sense for Elaine to hire Yelena to do that than the red headed mom. And you don't have to be somewhere to make up stuff about what happened. Like when Brian Williams made up that story and got CANCELEDt for it.
Fun series. A little goofy sometimes like the Tracksuit guy telling Kate about his girlfriend. Overall it was enjoyable and like all these series it moved some things forward like Kingpin. Disney is just really really smart. You basically have to see every movie and watch every show to keep up with everything going on. So much interconnection.
I like The New Black Widow, but man her being "funny" might get old for me. I still liked the whole elevator scene with Kate Bishop, it was funny, but man her shtick is gonna get old in a couple more movies. I'm already kind of annoyed after 2 episodes.
