He’s got to change his mindset & effort too. The other 19 year olds are ahead of him in that regard. I’m not saying throw in the towel but you have to be honest. Hopefully he knows what he needs to improve on.

Man, it truly takes a special kind of stupid to try and project a player's entire career less than a season into said career. How about we actually let the kids play and have a chance to make mistakes and grow?

I agree, I wouldn’t even keep score. Just let the kiddos play!

Jalen Green healthy ruins the chance of a Steve Francis reunion with the team.

You mfs are weirdos lol Calling JG a pu**y and saying he is mentally weak. Based on what? bad shooting? You have ZERO clue how hard he is working or any insight into his mentality. Bringing up CFB player and the Marine Corps for whatever reason is also peak weirdo activity. To echo what @Verbal Christ said what makes Sengun and Jaygup "tough guys" what have they done other than be physically bigger? Love those two so this isnt saying theyre not tough but you guys are getting really weird w this ****. There is no indication that Green is mentally tough or competitive. Youre basing it off of him wearing trendy clothes and being soft spoken. Other than that most of it is he is skinny. This **** is getting slanderous at this point

NBA draft analysts do that for a living, starting from high school, and some of them are incredibly smart. to say "it truly takes a special kind of stupid to try and project a player's entire career less than a season into said career." is actually pretty stupid. What you could say is that these early projections are with high level of uncertainty. But there is a whole industry of smart people trying to do them, because draft picks and salaries involved are very important. It’s a big business, it’s silly to just flippantly dismiss it.

Based on his inability and unwillingness to box out and hold position and fight screens. Which matches his off-court personality. what’s so hard to understand? just watch the games before going on these expletive-laden rants, bro!

Mental toughness is a requirement No Doubt about it.

This is not an arbitrary metric either, it's about doing the little things that don't show up in the stat sheet which he just doesn't realize he should be doing because he's been coddled thru his AAU years and wasn't pushed to improve in the G-League... He's been treated as "special" & people like that are never held to the same standards as the rest of the world .... until they fail.
That's why his shot mechanics are so bad - he's never had someone tell him otherwise and it shows.

You see these other young players doing things that Green just doesn't comprehend .... picking guys up 94ft defensively, taking charges, boxing out, fighting thru / over screens & taking on the toughest defensive assignment and making it personal. Those players everyone likes to compare him to ..... they had that in them too and that's what made them shine brighter than all the rest.

Criticism doesn't mean you don't want them to succeed ....

Jalen Only Fans have very quickly shown they're at the level of intelligence of LOFs.

That's a scary thing for Clutchfans.
