    Just not good enough to coast on defense and even when the D was hard, Chicago still hit their shots. Enjoy your 2nd round exit and your snow shoveling.

    Still impressed with Ball's commitment to become a better shooter.

    i think the real issue is that we don't have a real center. If we were truly trying to win this game it may have been better to play daniel theis at center. When our best option is eric gordon boxing out vucevic because Christian wood is a twig, there are going to be mismatches on defense everywhere. This is why wood is fools gold. He may be able to put up number on offense, but because he cant guard a big on the other end it messes up all the rotations. He gives back what he scores on the other end.

    im not saying that theis is great, im just using him as an example as to why cwood is a problem at the five and the last thing we should do is overpay him. Hes a nice 4th or 5th piece on a contender. If hes your starter at center you better have a great power forward who can guard the allstar bigs in the league.

    The one thing the Bulls are elite at is contesting rebounds. And I don't mean boxing out, because they aren't especially good there. What they do is jump in the air and hit the ball out to perimeter players. When the ball is in the air, guys just run to smack the ball back out, and that is such a difficult thing to rebound against. Gives them a ton of extra possessions.
