yes, I know that’s the "rationale" for the taunts. They’re still idiotic, because the kid took them to playoffs in his second year in the NBA. He’s verified awesome. Taunting him while he ist getting his footing right after the missed time is idiotic. Criticizing JG is by no means comparable, it’s just bland stating the obvious. You can still say he has bright future, that’s a valid opinion, too. But this chain started comparing certain Griz fans to certain Rox fans and the comparison is ridiculous.
Ja Morant is two and half years older and could also get better. I would do it in a nanosecond but I'm a big Ja Morant fan.
That's not the point, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of that post who says its "fact" that Ja Morant is awesome and "fact" that Jalen is horrible, despite all of the anti-Jalen arguments he uses also applying to Ja Morant. FWIW I don't think it's "fact" that Ja Morant has a positive impact on his team.
If you don't think the Rockets would trade Green for Morant with no hesitation you are some kind of delusional. If Stone does not immediately take that trade he is an idiot, you don't pass up a sure thing based on potential, come on dude.
Number one if the trade presented itself of ja for green I would take ja no brainer But I was the first person to call Green a bust but you know what our team is such garbage we could actually use heem right now because he's actually better than Brooks and it looks like we are trading EG Hate to say it but we actually need green and I hate to say it
It’s comparable because it’s just as ridiculous for so many Rockets fans to call a 19 year old a bust after only 18 games. Check your history of guards that shot poorly early in their rookie seasons that went on to become great players. Cade Cunningham is basically following that trajectory this year as well. It isn’t uncommon. JG went out as he was turning the corner. None of that matters to some of you though. He didn’t come out dropping 20-30 points night after night so now he’s definitely a bust. All the he might get better, but I doubt it type posts. Trade him while you can. Lots of the same people were saying Josh Christopher was a scrub. He got better though. Shocker! Guess what, he’ll continue to get better, he’s only 19 too. JG shot over 40% in 7 games this season so far and 4 of them came in the last 5 he played. That’s progress. That’s adjusting to the NBA. That’s the game slowing down. Armoni Brooks has only a fraction of the talent JG has and he’s suddenly driving to the basket and making decent passes, but it took time for him to develop. But JG is going to always be the player he is right now according to some of y’all. Makes no sense to me, but go off.
Can we wait like at least half a season for a 19 year old? Like you understand how impatient and petulant you guys sound right?
You don't actually know if he was turning the corner or not because like you said the sample size is too small, you cannot get on people for using a small sample size to hate on him and then use a smaller sample size to claim he was turning the corner. I think the jury is still out and I agree the sample size is too small to proclaim anything about the player. Saying Brooks has only a fraction of the talent says a lot about you and your agenda.
WTF are you talking about? I have all the patience in the world to see how Green pans out but if Morant was offered for Green why the hell would I want to wait to see if Green pans out when I know what I have in Morant. Stop moving the goalpost, I have not been impatient or petulant about Green.
I also wonder why the Grizz are doing so well without Morant, is his defense that bad? I don't remember this being such a big issue last year.
If he he only has 7 games shooting 40% and I point out that 4 of them came in his last 5 games before injury is that not relevant? Many were pointing out that he was playing more under control and was looking better before he went down. Is that not relevant? I’m not following your logic at all. Semantics. Ok I’ll say it looks like he was starting to turn the corner then. Does that make it better? Agenda? Lol…I was one of the first people on the Armoni Brooks bandwagon when he was in the G-Leauge and I have the posts to back up my support for Brooks so let’s not go there. There was a reason JG was ranked no lower than 2 in his class and in some places number 1 and went 2nd in the draft while Brooks went undrafted and toiled away in the G-Leauge. Come on, let’s not go there.
Cavs should straight out cut Mobley. Blew out other teams points wise and intimidated more defensively without his non basketball loving self. using green hater logic here where 18 games sells a career
It just really baffles my mind the immense amount of hatred Green is receiving by the fanbase. I'm so confused about it.
Cautiously optimistic on Green's shooting when he returns to the one big lineup. For the Cavs, Darius Garland averages 6.7 three attempt at 39%, which is pretty good. He's able to shoot well even with all them bigs in the front court. So while the threat of a drive may help against a defender from closing in, Green eventually will have to handle the different looks he's going to get. One big lineup helps the people who drives... Wood, Tate. ...and maybe Green too. But it may not be a magic pill that just cures shooting. *Fingers crossed.*
There you go with the gaslighting again. Brooks had nothing to do with the conversation about trading Morant for Green yet for some reason you included him in the post. Anyway, I am done with you I am not being sucked into your vortex of gaslighting.
Like I said you are you a small sample size to prove a point but then bashing another poster for using a small sample size when his sample is actually bigger than yours. It's actually simple logic, not hard at all to follow.
