Are we sure about this? I thought Philly only owed their 2025 1st to OKC, apart from that they have all their 1s Similarly, Sacramento have all their 1s don't they? Plus some extra 2nds I also thought Minesotta had all their 1sts? I could be wrong...
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nb...trading-jerami-grant/ar-AAS0n5z?ocid=msedgntp i wonder if we can deal CWood back to detroit with fillers for grant? think they'd take him back?
We obviously do that but Wood doesn't fit Orlando's timeline. They're going to keep tanking and accumulating prospects as they should.
In a heartbeat Anything apart from Green, Sengun and our premium FFRPs if needed Future starter at PG that will smother opponent's primary initiator and adapt his game to make his teammates better Immediate starter at SF that will contend for DPoY annually with spotup spacing and extra help on glass I'd do Wood for Isaac or KPJ for Suggs straight up Including Sengun and Green, the rebuild is essentially complete with our new PF in the draft Sengun / Theis Jabari / Garuba Isaac / Tate Green / Garry Suggs / JayGup Ooh baby ... IT just moved a little
One of the things I notice when I see fans of other teams write about trades is just how out of touch and delusional they are. I've read Lakers fans talking about THT for Wood as a "maybe" deal because they're not sure they want to give up THT. What? Magic fans think Terrence Ross, in his 10th season shooting 39% and 29% from 3 point range, is guaranteed to land them a FRP. And remember when Heat fans didn't want to trade Herro for Harden? I don't think we're that delusional about our players, but it's good to remember that market value is not the same as what we think of these players. And stone has to maneuver within the market, not our opinions of what we think we can get.
We have fans right here on clutchfans that are mad Stone couldn’t get a FRP for Danuel House (39%FG/ 29%3PT / 4 PTS). So being delusional about a players‘ worth is not exclusive to other fanbases.
In a dogfight with Garuba and Theiss for backup big minutes I would prefer Garuba and KPJ keep Theis on the bench, but he is the experienced post defender best suited to bang with bigger Cs among the 3 at this point Here's hoping he is a drastically overpaid cheerleader sooner than later
Utter insanity but here goes. If the Knicks decide to move on from Kemba… Rockets trade: EG/Wood/Tate Knicks trade: Barrett/Robinson/Knox/Kemba/Taj + 2022 Charlotte FRP + 2023 Dallas FRP Why the Knicks do it: to win now. The franchise needs it. This potentially helps them salvage their season. All three players acquired fill immediate needs and strengthens them in the short-term. They still keep their own picks. Wood is playable with Randle, Tate is a bulldog, and they have documented interest in EG. Why the Rockets do it: facilitate the tank and moves all three to a [likely] playoff team. We continue to “do good” by our players that we trade. We buy out Taj and Kemba, but take a flyer on Knox. Sign Robinson to a team friendly extension. Barrett gets the green light in a no-pressure environment so we can gauge what we have in him. Frees up minutes for Sengun.
Having a breakout season finally. Still not sure why he's on trade block. Smarter to target Jalen Johnson.
Garuba is longer, more athletic and the better overall defender IMO. Garuba better disruptor, rim protector, switch defender, post defender, iso defender, ball handler, passer AND rebounder. Theis maybe sets better screens. That's it.
Wood, Theis for Bagley, Tristan Thompson, Kings 2023 1st (Top-10 protected), 2026 1st rd pick swap (1-7 protected)
