Allen plays taller and longer protecting rim, technique and lateral slide breaks down further away from paint he goes. He still hunches over too much in iso defense. And JA is nowhere near the offensive threat or as offensively versatile as Wood.

Exactly right. Its easy for fans to point out how long he's been injured and speculate the Rockets are keeping him out to tank... but do you think they could actually get Jalen to agree to that? Can you imagine Stone texting Jalen like "hey man, tests came back great you're ready to go, but would you mind just, like not doing that for a while?" also this premise assumes Jalen has some impact on winning, which is not the case at the moment. if they wanted to tank they should bring him and KPJ back ASAP so they can go back to leading the league in turnovers and inefficient shooting. that's how you tank.

I think so, if the proposition is: "kid, do you want to go back to G-league, to hone your craft a bit there?" If he sees it as a demotion, he may be, "nah, my hammy still bothering me"

At that point I’d rather GMs think Green won’t be the best player because they miss more often than Danuel on his posterdunks
