If you can score 30 at this age and really not know what’s going on with a dumb coach…. You have amazing potential. Rockets need to beef him up and hopefully he learns a lot.

I think he will be fine.

So are the Jazz but I wouldn’t want to build my team around Rudy Gobert.

He has half the season left (or more) when he returns. You never know...

He is scoring 14ppg on absolutely awful shooting numbers. If he comes back and has a hot streak %wise to get him back to 'reasonable shooting numbers, then one would imagine his ppg would be closer to 20.
Given that he is a highlight reel athletically, that is the sort of fluff BSPN loves, so he would be in the spotlight, and at the least, in the conversation...

(But yeah - you're right, it is long odds!!)

Allen is a tad pricey but
    I wouldn’t say he can’t score he’s averaging 17 & 11 and shooting 72% from the line.

True, but you were playing make-believe before me pretending we would get both when adding Allen greatly decreases the chances the Rockets would get a top pick.

Good. We supposed to be tanking anyway. Lose and get healthy. Get a high draft pick and see what we can do next year. All we need now is Gordon traded and this season ain’t half bad

    You have been polite here.

Number 2 picks have been dangerous.

Sam Bowie, Darko, Michael Beasley haunt me to this day.

    That's just a coincidence.

More often than not....all picks in any slot have been busts.

I know, if he wasn't ours, I could not give 2 darn, I would be gleeful if he busts out.

They are winning because they have very good point guards: Rubio and Garland who can give you easy lobs and nice handoffs or sweet lobs to make easy baskets for this Big Men. He would be obsolete offensively.

But of course neither player would have worked on Rockets.

    Coz Ricky Rubio amirite???

Cavs were a trash team in NBA last season, not much better than Rockets.

    LOL

Did JA help Cavs win more games last season???

They had the pick right after ours.

This reasoning baffles me to no end.

    Narrative man.

CF has to lie to itself to compensate for not picking Mobley who will end up the best player in this draft.

Allen and Mobley have been good, but they have garland running the show and tossing them lob after lob. Then wicky wubio comes in and does the same thing. It’s ridiculous that people are judging green already, he’s barely had any time, much less any time in a legitimate spaced out offense
