this is the problem with analytics....
wouldn't go into details and any stat could be misleading but that is especially true with +-, it is not a good stat especially on a single game basis
i blame this loss on coaching ....sengun is a not a guy to shoot 3s you need to put him in position to suceed...and he needs to start and a 30 min min pt to get into rhythm

 

No, they are not that good. Our defense is just that bad.

 

Why would Silas “punish” him for something so obvious? It’s part of the learning curve for a rookie. I’d bet money that they don’t play near that many games so close together in the Turkish Super League. Perhaps one of our Turkish fans will read this and let us know.

Why would SIlas do half the **** he does? Some people have selective memory here lol. We forget the **** he does sometimes. Sengun gets yanked but SIlas will still overplay vets he's done that several times.

 

you also cant expect from a player to excell at his performance when hes being constantly punished and not rewarded for his excellent play...

 

they looked a lot beter than jalen green and our defense would be much worse if jalen played

Quickley's a 2nd year player, you're thinking of Quentin Grimes, who hadn't been doing that well but had a monster game recently, just like McBride did tonight.
I'm nowhere near ready to give up on Jalen yet.

I was more talking about Josh Cristopher compared to McBride, and players like him.
He, Bones Hyland and Cam Thomas were similar players rated/taken around the area we selected Josh at.

Jalen I put up against players like Mobley, Barnes, Suggs and Giddey.

 

In other news Theis looks pretty good when he’s the only big.

Robinson was a difficult match for Sengun at the previous meeting and it was confirmed again today. The strange thing is neither Sengun nor the coaches didn't try something different for this match-up. I am sure he will learn something for the future when he examines the game but should do more during the struggles.

And Robinson played 100% fg. Some nights (actually after midnight here) are like that. Hard to digest, costly to ignore for Alperen.

I need a good sleep to forget this tasteless game.

He's also probably tired. There's no back to backs or 3 in 4 in the Turkish superlig.

All the minutes conspiracy theorists need to sit the **** down. There's 53 games left - basically almost 2 entire seasons in his previous league.

They likely play 3 matches in 7 days span in Turkish basketball (2 league fixtures plus 1 European or Turkish Cup game). But the main problem is distances between venues. US has bigger size than whole Europe+Turkey+Some Asian/African countries accepted to play in European Cups (Israel, Cyprus, Armenia, Georgia,..). I am sure he suffers from extensive travelling.

 

They need to post senguin down on the block. I would love for a pick and switch with senguin rolling into the block on a smaller player.
