The report of Sabonis wanting out of Indiana was apparently false.

    Indiana Pacers
Rival teams are ramping up conversations with the Pacers involving guard Caris LeVert and center Myles Turner. The Mavericks and Knicks are expressing interest in trading for Turner, sources said. The Lakers and Hornets have had a level of interest in Turner as well, sources added. The Cavaliers are among interested teams in LeVert, those sources said, as he would provide a combo guard able to handle the ball and playmaker in the season-ending absence of Collin Sexton and Rubio.

Turner is the NBA’s leading shot-blocker, averaging 2.9 blocks along with 13.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game Indiana is 15-25 on the season and four games out of a Play-In Tournament seed.

The Athletic reported on Dec. 7 that the Pacers would potentially move toward a rebuild and were receptive to trade conversations around Domantas Sabonis, LeVert and Turner. The Pacers have an extremely high value on Sabonis, rival executives say, which makes a trade unlikelier for the two-time All-Star big man.

The Pacers are seeking two first-round picks or a promising young player and a first-round pick in exchange for Myles Turner, the NBA’s top shot blocker, league sources told HoopsHype.

Turner, who is currently dealing with a sore left foot, has been targeted by several teams on the trade market, including the Mavericks, Blazers, Timberwolves, Knicks, Lakers and Hornets.

Indiana’s asking price for Caris LeVert is a first-round pick and a good young player, league sources told HoopsHype.

One team to watch for LeVert is the Cavaliers, as beat writer Chris Fedor noted on a recent HoopsHype podcast episode. Cleveland has all of its first-round picks to dangle, young players such as Isaac Okoro, Cedi Osman and Dylan Windler, and the expiring contract of Ricky Rubio as trade bait.

Turner has an $18 million salary for this season and next season. LeVert is owed $17.5 million this season and $18.8 million next year.

Yes, we should tank every year like the Kings do. Sure they've had some of the worst basketball to watch for over a decade, but think about how much they're going to win before we all die of old age??

Short term pain for long term gains. If u trust the front office to draft the next superstar via tanking a few years it will b worth it in the long run.

Just bc kings are a dumbass franchise that whiffs on literally every pick they owned doesn't mean we will end up like them.
We still haven't off loaded wall and woods contract yet, aren't sure silas is the right coach.

Remember there is no right way to winning it all, we tried the pacers way for years until we got lucky with Harden trade. That sht won't happen again since we currently lack the assets/players

U gain more assets via tanking than playing your hardest. It's a fact that higher quality players are generally found n the lottery.

U point out the kings. Look at sixers, suns, mavericks, Wolves? Yea they haven't win anything but their future is soooo much brighter than the pacers.

I rather we be sht a few years, draft competently and rise to greatness. Playing your best just to b mediocre is not something i want to watch as a fan, but that's me.

    Wolves-never

And lol at suggesting the mavs tanked on purpose. The first year of tanking they actually got worse, and the second year of tanking they drafted Luka Doncic. They're a perfect example of why having a winning culture and NOT tanking intentionally is important. Not only that, but they actually had a finals MVP Less than 10 years before that. The kings were still tanking intentionally at that time, and still haven't improved.

Tanking simply doesn't result in championships unless you're playing NBA2K, where culture is irrelevant and the top 3 rookies are always the best.

Like I said. When we draft the franchise type player then we start making moves to get better. Is green or sengun the ones? If not keep drafting.

Like at this current situation does winning with vets like wood and Eric Gordon to get into the Play In benefit us in the future? We are literally gonna get ass blasted in playoffs. U r probably the same type of folks who believe anyone can win if they make it into playoffs

Once u are at the bottom u can only go up. Kings drafted like sht blame that not tanking

I want to see the Kings muck up a pick like Lebron James. Lebron as a 18 ppg scrub would be hilarious.
