How many games has Green played without 2 bigs, Wood/Theis, in the starting lineup? Zero. One quarter, 11 points. You want to talk trash about Green, that's fine, but give him a chance in the type of lineup everyone else is thriving with now.

Probably will get updates on Friday but it's probably going to be sometime in January. I'd be willing to bet we'll get a non answer Friday. Something about progressing and taking it week to week.

He is already doing shooting drills, I think Silas will keep him out and evaluate how he can free up minutes first.

I hope it could be a bench role but not sure.

So now 2bigs make him miss open threes, get lost on defense and loose ball in traffic? Its ****ing basketball bro. 99%players in history of basketball played with center and powerforward. We once traded Capela so certain guard could play ;)

Feigen reported that he’s closer than KPJ:

“When the starting guards return, with Green closer than Porter, Silas said they will still start, with Mathews and Armoni Brooks brought off the bench to provide shooting ideal for Sengun’s passing with the second unit. The juggling of the starting lineups, however, seems more of an issue for those watching than playing or coaching.”

Is this the new normal for us - w/ this guy always being injured?

…he went down with a hammy in summer league and has been knocked out twice with the same injury.

hope he’s in the gym. Would love to see him develop with these guys his rookie year.

No he has not shown more than Darko and Kwame who had long NBA catrers especially Kwame.

What exactly do you think Grenn has shown in these games thats better than Kwame?

Are you comparing the entire career of Kawne to a dude who played 19 NBa games? Use your noggin. They are comparing those players at the same stage of development dude. Not entire damn careers. So look at what Kawme did at 19 and more specially look at what he did in his first 19 games.

People go out of their way to remove common sense to **** on Green.

I would bet anything that both Green and Porter are fine right now.....neither injury was that severe.....but that the org is letting them take extra time as the team is playing well hoping that some of what is going on soaks in.

    Stop gaslighting.

The person I replied to claimed Green has shown more in 18 games than they did their entire carrer which I disagreed with.

Please show me were I **** on Green?

Comparing Green to obvious day one busts like Darko and Bennett is hyperbolic at best, and just trying to get a rise out of people at worst. Those dudes were too fat and unathletic to play in the league, same goes for other obvious scrubs like the Kandi Man.

However, if Green doesn't improve his game and regains his shooting prowess shown in the D-league, comparing him to Stromile Swift, Evan Turner, or Josh Jackson isn't off the books.

If you can't shoot in today's NBA, you can't be a franchise player (unless you're Giannis with Westbrook's body on KD's frame).

As for Green being the worst rookie in the draft, he's not even the worst rookie in the top 5, that honor goes to Suggs.

Cade, Giddey, and Williams also rocking negative WS/48, though all have improved since I last looked about a week ago. Green should as well.

Teams have always given bigs chance after chance because they're a big body that can clog the paint on defense especially when they are high picks. Kwame and Darko were bottom of the barrel skill wise and were poor defenders and rebounders for their size. The argument that they got contacts is a bad one. Again Green has shown more skill and has improved more than those two ever did. Nothing has indicated he won't have a long NBA career. I shouldn't even be addressing this argument because it's ridiculous on it's face but here I am arguing will sensationalist weirdos that are either being intentionally obtuse or haven't watched NBA basketball.

    And they'd have been wrong.

A fluke good game is great and all, but it doesn't mean much.

Does KPJ's 50 point game last season mean he's destined for greatness? It was considerably more impressive than anything Green has done before.... and the Green simps want him gone

Kwame was not a bad rebounder or defender, that shows you don't have clue and Kwame did not just hang around he signed several contracts over league averag.

What exactly has Green shown do far?

This is not saying Green is a bust but he has not shown he will have a long carrerr because of an skill.

Stephen A Smith is the only reason people go to Kwame as the prototypical bust.

If you want to see what a real earth-shattering bust looks like at #1 overall, all you have to do is go a year back to Michael Olowokandi. 2.5 career WS over a 500 game career, surpassing only Anthony Bennett.
