You are absolutely right. We tanked last year. Last year's team didn't have this character.

Silas best coached game by far.

This game was amazing to watch!! The fact that we were down big but never gave up speaks volumes to the growth of this team.

As so many of y’all have already said, quality win against a quality opponent—and props to Silas for sticking with the lineup that brought us back into the game. Augustine and Gordon brought us home!!

Nwaba irks me sometimes with his play but his energy and hustle are through the roof and galvanized the entire team. And KJ’s athleticism almost made me **** myself. But my favorite thing about tonight was coach trusting Al-P to close the game at center. He made all the little plays, burning some clock here and there, passing to the right person, setting solid screens. He sees the game on a different level.

what a ****ing win, fellas! I’m so happy!

Mathews really does show what 5 years of development is an edge against pure athleticism for Green. If we can develop Green the same way, we'll be in good shape.

I definitely was scared. Players just move whenever he plays.

He plays hard every time he's out there.

There is one simple factor on whether he's a huge plus or a huge negative, is his corner 3 falling? If it is he's an elite role player, if it's not he kills the spacing, especially when around Tate/Theis/Martin/KPJ/Green who shoot so awfully. If we had more consistent shooters it wouldn't be as big of a problem, hopefully he gets more burn with Matthews/Brooks/EG/DJ because he's a difference-maker with his hustle

Can we start calling Silas the Rocket Scientist or should we wait until we has a real coach?

KJ Martin is going to be something special the more he learns the game. We have so many up n coming guys. We can’t keep them all…. Don’t fall in love.

Sengun's stat lines are never eye-popping, feels like he's the power forward version of CP3

Got to remember that we have a coach growing with the rebuild and he is learning along the way and different situations. He is getting more comfortable at making decissions on the fly, like leaving Sengun in the game today and rewarding Augustin and Nwaba with their fight.

That bench got this W. Love how silas kept DJ KJ and Alpy out there to close it. Funny casuals on twitter blowing up about EG. They dont know dude has been a kiler he's whole career. Not a superstar, but a killer.

Can't blame them both of those guys have been in Atlanta for decades so they're probably excited to see their team competitive these last couple of years or so. Just how Bill Worrell was.
