Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered the first trailer for “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” the third of five planned films in the “Harry Potter” spin-off series. With the power of Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen replacing Johnny Depp) rapidly growing, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) entrusts Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his friends on a mission that will lead to a clash with Grindelwald’s army, and will lead Dumbledore to ponder how long he will stay on the sidelines in the approaching war. Set in the 1930s, the new film will explore the magical communities in Bhutan, Germany and China among others. “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will be released in cinemas on April 15th 2022. https://www.darkhorizons.com/first-trailer-fantastic-beasts-secrets-of-dumbledore/
I love the non-death-related continuity of the Harry Potter films. Wished they would started out with Mikkelsen. He's a much better serious actor than Depp. Looks like a fun watch to continue the HP universe.
mads mikkelsen replaced depp Depp and Amber Heard's messy relationship cost Depp this job. It's weird because Amber was the alledged one who took a dump on their bed. There's also an alleged picture of it. Can easily find it, although I don't recommend. It's just gross.
Why is the Dane holding ET? I guess it is not in the film. Hollywood’s Cancel Culture, Oh I am a weak lesbian/activist/bisexual when it suits me culture did the rest. I would say Depp underestimated Heard (Musk also stayed the night in Depp's penthouse while she was still being married at that time). And it was not even Heard that cost him roughly 120-200 million, he had some bad advice from his accountants.
Think it all looks really good, trust in the potter series, but I think the focus on the zoology for this series of films was misplaced. The title fantastic beasts almost takes away from the suspense and makes it more child-like. And think Potter has gone way beyond that now for the better. Like the dark stuff. That said, the characters and magic all resonate in the trailer.
I like these films. I like the actors. I like the stories. At the bare minimum, they help me forget the troubling times we live in...like having multiple threads in the Unsorted forum. If only to dream for a few hours...
