JG/KPJ go straight back to starting when they return, given how well team's played in their absence?

Gordan is a horrible ball handler. The farthest of all our guards from being a PG. KPJ is our PG now and in the future.

we will never win rings that way.... 9 games winning streak and you tanking?
if so then entire league should tank....
when you have everything ready according to the tank plan somebody will got injured or ask out or the good prospect would turn bust ....something unexpected will happen....opportunity is not a lenghty visitor

Yes we saw a glimpse of that in Chicago when the Rockets first went
without two centers and Jalen Green was going off with 11 points in the first
    quarter before tweaking the hamstring.

We (Silas) now know what Mathews and Brooks can do.... staggering
the substitutions should work accordingly. If the great CP3 and
triple double Westbrook can be subbed out after the first
5 minutes of game time.....then KPjr or Green can as well.

Brooks and Mathews are now the fall back plan if Green/KPjr are not shooting well
upon start of the game. Detroit would play Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson whenever
they needed instant pts...whenever the Rockets need instant spacing, enter Brooks or
    Mathews.

I think you definitely keep EG in the starting lineup, and have him be the primary creator at least to start the game. That has been the key to the success IMO along with the spacing/shooting. Bring both of these guys off the bench for now. Maybe start KPJ with Green, but his shooting stinks to high heaven.

I do think we still need to be trying to get well positioned this year to draft as high in the lottery as possible. I don't want us to really get short sited here as fun as this period has been. So maybe putting KPJ and Green back in for the purpose of that alone makes sense, but I'd like to get a couple more fun games in before we send in the tank commanders.

EG goes to bench comes in when Green or KPJ sits, plays alittle with Wood but a lot with Sengun (spaces floor) can run Christopher, Brooks, Gordon , KJ, Sengun with DJ sprinkled in

    KPJ does, Green does not.

Yeah. They’re the future. Mathews isn’t goin to shoot 45 from 3. Forever.

    Wood
    Tate
    Mathews
    Green
    KPJ

should be the starting lineup. Armoni isn’t a starter in this league as an undersized 2 guard. It’s not a big deal for Gordon to come off the bench. Only reason I start Mathews becaue he spaces the floor and knows how to find those corners. This isn’t rocket scientist. It’s still a developmental year.

Lol by the time they comeback we could be on another 15 game losing streak and this thread won't even matter.

I wouldn't start both when they get back.

KPJ for sure should go back to starting, the team needs someone to help create for others....as for Green, he certainly will becuase the team is prioritizing his feelings over the best interest of the team, but he almost certainly shouldn't start.

There's just no case for Green over Mathews OR Brooks at this point.

Then again, Sengun should be starting too, and that's not going to happen either. Merit doesn't seem to have anything at all to do with Silas' decisions.

Green's about a week away from being a week away.

The streak is going to be a distant memory by the time he's ready to play again.

People need to not worry so much about minutes. THe Rockets only dressed 10 last game - and that's before clearing out the tradeable vets. Omicron is coming, etc.

    There will be minutes.

I never said Gordon was great but I'm not a fan of KPJ the point guard. He's a wing all day every day. The Rockets point guard of the future isn't on the roster yet. That's if they ever plan and contending.

I hear ya on Gordon but I'm not a fan of KPJ as a PG. He should concentrate on being a scorer.
