Batman fan so going to check it out. Although not a real fan of superhero horror movies like the latest suicide squad, so who knows. I've seen just about all of the Batman movies with the exception of the one with Arnold as Iceman, just can't do it.
you know how a license works right? the reason why they keep making Spiderman movies is that they paid billions for that right, that right expires. So you have to keep making movies to make that investment profitable. @Xerobull if Warner Brothers has the Batman license from DC, they are going to make as many Batman movies possible

The amount of people protesting studios for remakes are super minor and won’t make any financial impact on a decision by Hollywood

Bruce Wayne is an American character. Not down with a British actor playing him. If Pattinson gets to be the Bat; then Nick Cage gets to play the next Bond. (there i said it). The Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, Hanks, Denzel, of the world are all aging out. Even Downey, the Rock, Affleck or Damon are getting up there. The next wave of Hollywood leading men; Tom Holland, Timothée Chalamet, and Robert Pattinson are all British.

It's easy to hate on Russia or China, nobody call out U.K. I blame Canada for Drake and Beiber, and U.K. for institutional favoritism; for casting male Hollywood action leads. DC's big three: Superman (Cavil), Batman (Bale/Pattinson), WW (israeli: Gadot). Star Wars (new cast top 3): Daisy Ridley / Finn (British). Oscar Issac (non U.S. born) Any of Sony's next big roles like Nathan Drake... are going to Holland. There's maybe what Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan; not too many out there.

The primary reason this movie looks, to me, like it's going to be stupid is because of this: That looks like one of the stupid villains from the Dick Tracy movie.
The Penguin has ruined the movie for me before. So it's plausible. But nothing can be worse than the last Penguin.
