It sounds like the only concern is his height. The official number may make or cost him millions. A Hutchinson/ Corral first round would be a great way to jump start this franchise.
If he was 6’3/6’4 he would be number one pick. I am interested to see his measurements, is he 6’2 or 6’ even
So they don’t project to be as good as Watt? The Texans had a good OL, great running game and Watt in his prime and still went 2-14 one year due to poor QB play. Give me a player that translates to wins. In the NFL that’s a QB.
Unfortunately, 2022 just doesn’t look like a great year to be drafting QBs. Mock drafts showing vast majority of the top 10 picks on the defensive side of the ball with a couple OL mixed in. Any Watson trade needs to focus on picks beyond 2022, (1) so that the Texans have more picks in a more QB-strong draft, and (2) to ensure the Texans are bad enough in 2023 to ensure their own pick is top of the draft valuable. 2022 feels like a good year to trade down out of your top 2 or 3 pick if possble
I'm for seeing what Mills can do next year then if he isn't the guy look for a QB. Fix the trenches. I dont want the Carr years all over again.
I’d be curious to see what the Texans could get for Tunsil. Would Seattle be willing to give up a 1st in 2023 or 2 2nds to get him and increase their odds of keeping Wilson?
