Mostly though it was Morey refusing to tank. Les not wanting to tank because his cheap ass was about to sell the team. Also we won a series in 08-09' just 3 seasons before Harden came. Didn't even win a series for 2 seasons (12'-13' & 13'-14') WHILE HE WAS HERE! You won't mention that though. lol But because the best 6th man in the world was just that the best 6th man he needed help. We get Dwight. klay Thompson is a great shooter that’s about it . Doesn’t have any accolades to speak of, other than wrongfully taking hardens spot on the 2016 all nba team
Dwight put up 26ppg, 14 boards per game and nearly 3 blocks per game on 55% shooting against the Blazers. He did his part. Meanwhile your bearded bum shot 37 % from the field, 29% from 3 and had 3.5 turnovers to only 5.8 assist per game. In comparison he shot 46% from the field and 37% from 3 in the regular season. Looks like somebody came up short. Also CP3 was the best thing that could’ve happened to Harden. He helped him win his only MVP. He covered for Harden’s ass so many times and had his back when they both did post game interviews and Harden shot horrible percentages. CP3 kept Harden accountable and pushed him to be his best. It’s no surprise he came in the best shape of his life that year. He couldn’t deal with CP3’s demand for excellence for more than 2 years. Whether he was the main reason or not he played a big role in CP3 leaving and bringing his BFF Westbrick in. Even Westbrick complained about Harden’s work ethic, lack of accountability, being coddled and doing whatever dafuq he wanted to do. He quits on the Rockets, goes to his destination of choice and tries really hard for 1 year and when he fails again it’s back to being the bum he is. If Harden had more discipline, had a better work ethic and stayed in shape like his MVP year he wouldn’t look the way he does and struggle like he is. The guy is carrying around at least an extra 20 pounds of fat, looks sluggish and slow af. It’s like he went to the Nets and was planning on relying on KD and Kyrie to carry him. Keep believing and defending your bum though. One day you’ll realize it was a waste of time being a Harden fan.

harden has a higher dbpm and more career defensive win shares than klay klay made an all defensive team a few years back with the third worst defensive box plus minus by a guard in LEAGUE HISTORY but klay has that lightskin/ white privledge that y’all here on clutchfans go crazy for lol. It’s the truth. The Rockets weren’t winning ANYTHING!!!!! The Rockets won 1 playoff series in 15 years. You gave what you would call excuses as reasons why but those teams didn’t win & were irrelevant. The Rockets didn’t build a championship roster with or without Harden is the point.
