Maybe you should take your own advice about keeping up. In that discussion, RHU525 noted Bennett didn't pay because the O&G market tanked (his opinion). You asked if they offered Harden a contract. He noted that it wasn't the max. Then the convo morphed to what had players done to deserve a max, which is what I responded to. It's a silly point because they didn't need to pay him the max until another year and he still woulda been a RFA. I can reference the pages for you if you need help to keep up.
Why don't you re-read what I wrote? I've been consistent. If you can't see that, maybe you should work on your reading comprehension. So you thought it was a silly discussion yet you felt the need to insert your opinion? Says a lot about you.
I read what you wrote. Maybe you should read what you wrote, as far as what you are responding to me about. The convo you referenced took a turn towards whether Harden got a max and if he deserved one. That's what I was responding to. You didn't keep up. It's ok. I thought noting if he was deserving of a max or not wasn't relevant, since he was still on his rookie deal when he got traded. It was a clear example of the owner being cheap, as he had another year before he had to pay him real $$. This is a message board where opinions are shared. Going down this rabbit hole instead of just noting you misspoke with your talk of "keeping up" or just moving on when called on it says a lot about someone all right....
Why do I need to re-read what I wrote? I've been consistent. Try to keep up. Yep, if you're going to interject on a topic you think is silly, you should keep up with the conversation you're responding to. That's not too much to ask. But then again, most people wouldn't feel compelled to comment on a topic they care nothing about. You're just that special sort of someone who does.
Sneaky defensive tactics. They have one hand on one of your drive to the basket and their hand straight up to appear they aren’t fouling.
Because you are clearly confused. The topic isn't silly. Your point was silly. Hence my comment. Keep up.
It's apparent that your point now is to save face after making a silly comment. That you continue to do so is...unsurprising.
Warriors are 4-4 when Curry shoots <30% from three…with 3 coming in last two weeks. are nba defenses starting to adjust? He’s also shooting 38.6% overall FG% in last 10.
It's a mental block. He also shot poorly from the 3pt line a few years back as he was approaching 400 made 3's in a season.
Before the regular season started, tell me how many basketball 'experts' projected GSW to be the best team in the NBA. I'll wait. Why? Because most of them projected GSW to be at the bottom of the playoff picture. Additionally, most of the season has been played out, without Wiseman / Kuminga / Klay seeing big minutes. (and in Wiseman and Klay's case, without seeing minutes at all). There is no way anyone would have expected GSW to be this good. If you personally thought GSW would be sitting at / near the top of the WC 25 games into the season, you should buy some lotto tickets.
In fact, they were always predicted to be Top 5-6, it only takes a hot run to be in the Top 3. Also the Suns are overtaking them by this minute. The Hakeem poster was talking in general, not just this season, the whole Worriers saga from 2014-15. She did start out with this season but then went in length about how people idolized them from a decade ago. I also think they laid their foundation with the draft selections of Curry, Thompson and Draymond. No need to narrow it down. Spoiler You need capital to buy any lotto ticket, I only have life savings. If you trust me you can give me, I keed. I am not serious about betting.
They were already at the bottom of the Play In last season so it was natural to predict a better outcome. They might not have predicted a temporary No 1 seed but the season is long. I do not see why you pretend to be mad while you were that dude that was starting this sarcastic thread in the first place. No idea what goes in your head really, seems you are salty and when someone points something out, then you say, oh yes, it is total surprise, nobody should have come up with a prediction. (But alas, only ur takes are cool) And you were that dude that did not watch them regularly the last 3 seasons but wanted to know an answer. Maybe you should team up with them and say it is the league's fault, the refs' fault, the rules' fault, and just get it over with. There is high variance with non Morey teams too, they could be at the bottom of everything or at the top depending on injuries to Curry.... Bob Meyers and Co. worked hard for it and reaping the harvest that they have sown, it is normal. They are competent folks.
So, when someone disagrees with something you said, that makes them salty? You said the ordinary fan might not have thought GSW would be tops, but experts did. I'm asking you what experts thought GSW would be at or near the top. Still waiting for an answer. Because it is a total surprise that they're doing this without some of their roster. You make a lot of assumptions. Like, I'm pretending to be mad? What does that even mean? Because I disagree with you, I'm not only salty, but now mad too? Huh?? How is this thread sarcastic? Do you know what sarcasm is? I actually wanted to know how GSW was 11-1 at the time without Wiseman and Kuminga. When did I say I haven't regularly watched them for the past 3 seasons? You're assuming that I haven't, so I'll play along. If I've watched GS for the past 3 seasons, why would I be asking a question about them, in the first place? I would already know the answer to my own question. Obviously, I asked the question because I haven't watched them regularly. Who am I teaming up with to say it's X's fault? What does that even mean? Is someone at fault for GSW being good? Huh?? tl;dr you assume way too much and just because I disagreed with you, I'm salty and/or pretending to be mad. Half your post doesn't even make sense.
It is the bad aftertaste that you try to give someone after you disagreeing with them. Nope, but recalling the Jonathan Wall thread.....you went the length because I was of the opinion he didn't live up to his Draft spot. A totally sane person would say their piece and be done with it, agree to disagree. But you made things extra difficult for what? Instant gratification? I do not want to go thru that Bullshet because of some trivial basketball take. That you do not even know much about as you admitted to not watching the Warriors a lot. It is not even that important. Get over yourself really. I know it is probably not you alone but this culture of trying too hard, not letting go is truly sad.
As I said before, I obviously don't know much about the Warriors...which is why I started this thread and asked the question. I'm sure there were some avid Warriors fans here that can speak to the state of the Warriors. Sorry if that's so hard to understand. You're the one who can't let go of this. You keep replying to people by quoting them, and then act surprised when they're not "sane" because they respond to your reply? I forgot we even had a discussion in the John Wall thread because of how irrelevant you are. Sending me a PM titled "passive aggressiveness" is incredibly pathetic. I didn't even bother reading it, as I deleted it immediately. Sucks if you spent time on typing whatever you said in it. I'm sorry that you're so easily offended by a disagreement on a Houston Rockets fan forum, both about a player who hasn't suited up for the Rockets this year, nor about a team that isn't even the Houston Rockets. Can't imagine how you'd act if you had a disagreement on something that actually matters in the real world. "It is not even that important," but then you proceed to type out a lengthy reply on this thread and also send a PM. lmao ok. I'll take living rent free in your head. It's hella cozy here. Anyways, I'm going to ignore you, now. You're not worth responding to, and I don't want to derail this thread nor any future threads.
