There will never be a vaccinee for just a variant alone. The Vaccine will protect people from the spread of COVID period. If Omicron indeed turns out to be mild it is unlikely to be included in the vaccine - particularly if it helps build resistance to other variants (unlikely but possible). If Omicron becomes the dominant strain AND is mild, then we might finally be done with COVID at least for the time being. I think this is something that a lot of anti-vaxxers fail to recognize - the goal of the vaccine isn't to do anything but save lives. If it's mandatory in certain citations its because it saves lives. With viral diseases, it's not just your life, but the lives of the people you will infect.

people are just politicizing this subject anybody can get COVID, regardless of how many vaccine shots and nobody is going to stay at home forever. What this shows that COVID is the best thing to happen to the D&D because they go either direction to make themselves feel good about these fake political parties or political views. While a vaccinated person can spread COVID, it's less likely. Your body gets rid of the body faster and there is less virus you are sneezing into the atmosphere. So yes, being vaccinated does slow transmission. Just because it doesn't stop it 100% doesn't mean it doesn't safe lives or there is no point to being vaccinated. This isn't about politics - or shouldn't be. It should be about science. It should be based on the facts - nothing else. Screw parties and political views. Follow the science. That's how Space X and Tesla get built - on science not politics. We're all animals, but what does that have to do with slowing the spread of a disease?

Anybody can get Covid19 but the vaccinated get less frequently. Nobody is suggesting permanent stay at home orders. Combating Covid shouldn't be political. For many of us, it isn't.
On the one hand, I'm really annoyed that so many people are refusing to utilize the best tool we have as a species to fight this virus. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that as a species, we really need to be culled.
