    Here's the thing about cops, they can literally choose to not do their jobs in some form or protest or in a scheme to get more funding. Imagine if doctors chose not to treat patients in order to get paid more. I don't give a **** about police morale, they are selfish and only looking out for themselves.

    If cops made an effort to weed out bad apples and work with integrity, then I would have more faith in them. Instead they do the opposite and protect their own, no matter what.

    I think the fact that you dislike an entire occupation says far more about you than it does about them.

    And it's telling if you would ascribe standard acts of unionized labor as showing that police officers are "selfish and only looking out for themselves" but wouldn't do the same in a conversation about teachers, or pilots, or any other unionized group.

    Do you know how much **** goes down in police departments? It's not that they are racist, or power hungry, or overall bad people, it's the fact that those qualities and their position allows them to do real damage to people. They do not deserve the benefit of the doubt given their history of corruption and covering up evidence etc.

    You state opinions like they are facts. That doesn't make them true.

    Again, you make broad generalizations based on incidents you've heard or read about, and apply those globally to the entire profession of close to a million officers across 18,000 agencies.

    Yeah some of these overseas people need to make a trip to the states to see what it’s really like here

    Book an Airbnb in sunny side in Houston or the south side of Chicago or Inglewood California or Memphis

    And make sure you wear a Rolex

    @bobrek

    It's one thing not to support Trump. It's another to argue police departments are racist. You're a liberal bro

    So.. because I post a factual article concerning racist cops in Torrance, California, that makes me a liberal?

    Conservatives can't disapprove of racist cops?

    By inference, that means conservatives support racist cops.

    That's an insane take on your part.
