If you cant coer in today's NFL you cant play. See: McKinney

I'm not worried about a Watson trade. I'm ore worried about if he's going to have his depositions done and settled by the time the 2022 draft rolls around.

What are you looking for in a trade of Watson.

I’m just trying to make sure the Texans get something of value. This makes me worried that they’ll just release him and take a huge dead cap hit

They will get something for him, if he doesn't end up on a chain gang.

You do realize Caserio had nothing to do with Hopkins?

U do realize I said Texans. Did i mentioned Caserio? U just come flying in to defend anything negative said about the texans.

U defended the sht hopkins trade, so Im not surprised u would defend cutting cunningham.
I still remember your dumbass argument about justifying the sht trade for the cap space.

my favorite one yet was u telling everybody to wait and see, just wait and see before making any judgement.

To think I was actually excited about the future of the Texans just a few seasons ago. The stars they had are all gone.

The Texans are an embarrassment and it's hard to say anything good about them. And they just keep on doing more dumb things.

I hear you and completely understand but to be honest this rebuild/restart and complete tear down has been long overdue and is much needed. We will be better for it for the long haul.

And to the “stars” your referring too who exactly??

Clowney - the journey man D-end who will never live up to first overall draft position

Watson - serial sexual assault person who brought this all in himself and has no one to blame.

Hopkins - no show in the playoffs d-hop who is having his worse season yet

JJ - the only true “star” who injuries has just derailed his career

I feel your pain and understand where your coming from I really do but….I really love the hiring of Nick Caserio and believe in him to completely turn this franchise around.

This isn’t some guy who spent couple years in New England and now thinks they are some kind of football genius he spent 20 years over there with numerous roles and responsibilities.

I trust in Caserio and the direction and vision he has for this team just will take some time to really put his “stamp” on this franchise.

    I expect more roster turnover
    More coaching turnover
    And more front office turnover

    In the next few years.

This is the way my friend just enjoy the journey no matter how bad it may seem I see success in the future for this franchise.

Does this relieve the Texans of the cap hit?

Going from inside linebackers coach to head coach is a pretty big jump. He probably needs a yr or 2 as a DC before becoming a head coach.

    Professional reputation
Mayo has a well-known work ethic that has earned him a reputation as a player who shows up early, stays late, watches film, practices hard, and puts himself through intense workouts in the team’s weight room.[16] Mayo’s positive attitude was highlighted in Michael Holley’s book “War Room”:

”Mayo had been a top ten pick who didn’t act like one. On draft day, when the best of the best are invited to New York, often wearing made-for-occasion tailored suits, Mayo had been home in Virginia with his family raking leaves. He was a worker there and a worker in Foxboro. In the off season, he’d come to the stadium and watch film, even when there were no coaches to be found. He loved the game, and it could be seen by the way he played middle linebacker, never turning down the opportunity to plug a hole or run sideline to sideline.”[17]

from his Wikipedia page…he certainly seems like he will be a head coach 1 day
