The Westbrook pairing was viewed pretty pessimistically by most and the reality that played out reflected that view. The CP3 pairing was hopeful/optimistic on clutchfans but there were definitely many skeptics around the league. In reality they defintiely exceeded expectations. The Dwight Howard/Harden pairing was easily the most hyped, loved and exciting roster move on this site aside for the Harden trade and Tmac Trade. Many on clutchfans thought they were going to be/achieve what Yao/Tmac should've/could've accomplished. Dwight was still regarded as a top 5 or 10 player. He made all-nba prior to and with the Rockets. Even after the 1st round lost the first year (where Dwight dominated), many on clutchfans (& elsewhere) thought they were one of the best team entering the 2015 season. Of course the 2014-15 Warriors came out of nowhere (+2800) to win the title and the rest is history.
