    @ROXRAN

Apparently there are people don't understand criminals here.
like nothing at all. it's not INEQUALITY
    it's OPPORTUNITY

If they see that the cops won't do anything when you shoplift, why pay $500 for the PS5?
Also some RICH Art history dropout kids is walking down the street with a PS5 , he's going to get jumped.

Cause they WANT THE PS5. There's an OPPORTUNITY TO GET IT WITHOUT PAYING.

But yeah, I the next time these organic smoothie drinking suckers on the D&D gets robbed I hope they give the robbers a questionnaire so they can mail it back to them so they out of touch suckers will know how to serve the criminals better

Yes, those are all the steps people on this board are advocating. That and nothing else.

Yeezys and LV are easier to resell for $$$.

If I had medical bills, I'm stealing Yeezys and then selling them for $$$. Lane Bryant isn't worth it.

You want to reduce crime? look at the root causes.

universal healthcare would reduce crime more than any solution republicans have come up with

I got a solution- take a shower - brush your teeth- clean your room and go to work - every place is hiring - have some work ethic., not that it’s an excuse stop having a victim mindset but that’s one way of paying bills

Having a medical emergency is unlucky, having to work extra to pay those bills is like penalizing you twice. Once for getting hurt, and then the other for having to work harder which in some cases your injury may hinder yourself from doing so. Then it leads to debt, which ruins your credit score preventing you from future opportunities or prospects. Congratulations, this government literally took one poor person who got hurt, and made their life 10x more difficult

no wonder many people realize it's easier to just go into crime

This line of reasoning can be applied to every single economic hardship. It would lead you to argue the gubment should be responsible for every single economic necessity a person has from cradle to grave.

I'm not even against the notion of universal healthcare but economic hardship isn't a justification for crime. Lots of folks facing economic hardship aren't smashing windows and snatching purses.

How much of the cash they are receiving by reselling these items are going to pay overdue medical bills? I would guess that more money is going to fund payments for non-prescription drugs.

I'm not excusing anything, though. I am suggesting a solution to the problem. It's the same as people suggesting more funding for cops. What problem are they trying to solve? Crime. I'm also trying to solve crime, except I'm thinking more outside the box. We have proof that countries with larger social safety nets, universal healthcare as an example, have less homelessness, poverty, and therefore, less crime.

The elephant in the room is there, you’ve run into it but you keep telling yourself it’s not there. This whole BS crime waves belong entirely to the Dems.

Leftism is dangerous to your health and your wallet people. COVID ain’t got nothing on leftist policies. This is the abomination results of a party hellbent on destroying your safety and the safety of your loved ones.

One prime example is Bettlejuice of Chicago blaming store owners for not having enough security to protect their stores. You can’t make this shiet up.

People aren't stealing so they can make healthcare payments. That's not outside the box, you're addressing a different problem entirely.

This is where you're wrong. The problem is poverty. Crime is an output of poverty.

You want to reduce crime? address poverty. Universal healthcare is one way to address it.

I think this addresses some of the problems, I also think quite a few of these folks don't want to work and prefer a life of criminality instead, why work when I can go out at 3am and rob a weed store..........they are not going and selling it to pay for there rent or groceries, there stealing so they can get high and not pay for it
