EXcuse me D but I'm working....I don't have time to
    mess with your silliness

    19/20 frequency in Isolations
    Doncic 15.8%
    Delon Wright 6.0%
    Seth Curry 4.2%
    Porzingis 4.2%
    Barea 12.5%
    Brunson 4.5%

    Like I said miniscule numbers.
Harden was 45% in 19/20 Isolations
    Westbrook was 25% in 19/20

Why are you comparing MDA to Silas.

    Compare Silas to Silas.

Their systems are NOT the same.

Need to get over Harden, that ship has sailed.

Would you like me to list the D'Antoni 5-out players that Silas inherited.

You think Silas should have cleaned house and gutted the team
and brought his guys to run his system?

How do you do that? You think the league just voids those contracts?
Some how those salaries come off the books and Houston can start
    over from scratch?

In the NBA you trade dollar for dollar practically.....some how you could trade
the 6'3" players left by D'Antoni and trade them out for the personnel
    required to run his system.

Easy when teams wait until the trade deadline in most cases to trade. No

Cousins. Lamb, Patton, Spalding were crap running as the Roll Man.
All are out of the league, with exception of Cousins this past week.
They are so good nobody has been wanting them.

Silas needed to cut down trees and he inherited a lawn crew with hedge
shears, weed eaters and rakes. Not exactly lumber jacks with chain saws.

You can cut down trees without relying on ISO. Especially for a coach who supposedly hates ISO.

And especially when the most efficient ISO player in NBA history is no longer on the team.

And even prior to Harden leaving, Silas had Harden playing more off ball than he had since arriving in Houston.

And guess who were given green light to ISO their hearts out, Wall and Dipo.

Not to mention House AND Tucker were also encouraged to put ball on floor to create for themselves more than any other time in their careers.

You keep fantasizing Harden is still with this team.

The team could do a lot with Harden. How did that go without him?

Supposedly the Rockets with Harden can do the same without him.
Just like the Bulls without Jordan or the Cavs without LeBron

Everything is easy on paper..... or in your mind

Harden was trapped at half court in the regular season and then the PLAYOFFS.

And you want to compare this Silas as the same Silas with Harden.

That's beyond silly. Not even LeBron, Curry, Kawhi got that treatment.

We're done. You should have tapped out. I broke your arm.

    LOL

Again, who is constantly comparing Harden to Silas, it's YOU amigo!!!

Compare Silas first season WITHOUT Harden to Silas of THIS season.

    No Harden, no MDA.

Compare apples to apples. Silas without Harden, Silas this season.

Throw in Silas in Dallas too if it floats your boat.

This really should not be this complicated.

    You D-rock, you

You asked me why I brought up D'Antoni?

You can't separate D'Antoni from those players left behind....
including Harden (who you brought up).

You mentioned Doncic Isolations at Dallas. I brought up how
much Harden and Westbrook ran it....and you didn't like it.

Sorry, Harden and Westbrook were laughing at the Mavs frequency. They said
those frequencies didn't even add up to Harden and Westbrook during warm-ups.

Again, Silas does not run same offense as MDA.

There is superficial resemblance as both are 5 out/4 out but philosophy and use of personnel is different.

You yourself have explained that Silas with Mavs successfully implemented 2 big lineup.

MDA does not like having 2 unskilled players (big or small) on court at same time. But I'm willing to bet he'd play 2 skilled bigs together, if he had them.

Difference between Silas Mavs system and Rockets system is personnel AND ROLE.

You keep pointing out Boban but you're focused on the wrong player.

You should be focused on Porzingas. It is Porzingas, surprisingly enough nicknamed the Unicorn, that allows another big (less skilled) on court at same time.

Porzingas CAN play on the perimeter due to his position versatility, shooting, ball handling and passing.

But even the Mavs have struggled, especially in the playoffs with their 2 big lineup.

And unlike Wood, Porzingas is not at his best at the 5.

Hence all the rumors that Porzingas is unhappy with his role, his coach (Carlisle) and/or playing 2nd fiddle to Luka.

Silas came to Rockets and immediately proclaimed that he would continue using 5 out system (playing small) instead of his "preferred" 2 big lineup, but with more movement and having all the players or as many players create for themselves.

    Until the Olynyk trade.

But Olynyk and Theis do not have interchangeable skills. One is a liability on defense and other is liability on offense.

But Olynyk ability to create and be 3ball threat was near elite in Silas system while Theis rebounding and defense was average/below average.

One can play with Wood, the other cannot.

Olynyk would be great with Sengun too, funny enough.

D'Antoni/Morey/Harden recruited Cousins and brought in Wood to run 5-men out
scheme in 20/21. But then they bailed on the Rockets/us.

So you are blaming Silas for having to play the hand D'Antoni was dealt?

You think Olynyk/D I Wilson at trade deadline changed a bunch?

McLemore, Augustin, Olynyk, DJ Wilson were garbage on defense.
Only one playable for a conventional offense was Olynyk....but if
you think Olynyk sets a decent screen and roll; you are blind.

Fact of the matter is the 5-men out scheme and player personnel were mostly guards
that don't fit the same roles as the conventional schemes involving screen setting.
So Silas was forced to go with that crap last year.

    Oh boy.

MDA did not recruit Cousins, he basically left team while on plane ride back from postseason bubble in Orlando.

    Harden did not recruit Cousins.

    Morey did not recruit Cousins.

Both Stone and Silas were already GM and HC, respectively, when Cousons was signed.

    https://sports.yahoo.com/reports-de-marcus-cousins-signs-with-rockets-224857904.html

And even before Cousins was even signed by Rockets, there was already heavy media buzz that neither Harden or Russ wanted to stay in Houston.

And FYI, Boogie was a vet min 1 year contract.

    An afterthought at best.

You are obviously misremembering and it's making you insane.

Timeline is very clearly not supporting any of your wild contentions.
