Interesting the actors barely rehearsed their scenes, with the director mostly behind the screen. I expect they know their roles already, but when you hear all the actors saying it was weird, then it was weird. Also, I didn't know what Neuromancer was. Now that I know, the Matrix, it basically took all their stuff right from it, as did half of the science fiction movies and video games from the last four decades. That book must have been way ahead of its' time. Shouldn't it be a movie? Lastly, we all gonna watch it no matter how bad it is. But what they really should have done is get away from the Wachowski's because it's obvious they ran out of creativity and gas a long time ago. Let someone else take over and expand the world.
I think it's maybe not a good sign that the trailer tweet has an opt-out option. Is that the green pill?
If it were Disney reboot, the predictable plot would be that they have a Matrix girl running around that's some part AI or something, the Ones One...Eleven? TRILOGY REIGNITED
As long as it's better than 2/3, and has a lot of action I think it'll be good (I'm keeping my hype/interest/expectations low though... ) - I mean I'm just going to go into it expecting John Wick level action. I saw 1 a lot in the theater (one of the very few movies I'd ever repeat view while in theaters). I'd definitely like to see more of the story/characters but 1 honestly could have been it and it ended this good enough... So really shouldn't be hard to get over the train wreck of 2 and 3 (hopefully).
