I think some individuals like @D-rock really believe in Wood. I like Wood, but I don't regard him as highly as others. He does seem to be coming into his own though and has played really well in this recent stretch, maybe I'll change my mind about him, but at this point in time, I don't see him as a franchise piece. I do have concerns about his weak ankles as well. It worked out for Curry, but could it work out for Wood.

I don't think others are beinf hard headed if they really believe in Wood as top 3 player in this franchises future.

I'm on the sell high bandwagon but won't be mad if we choose to keep him around.

I really like wood as a 5 with other players spreading the floor. But I also worry when he gets out powered by bigger centers in the league and he seems to be unable to play with another big.

I would be more inclined to keep Wood long term if he can prove he can play together with Sengun. But right now the offense is a clusterfk when they are both on the floor together.

Unless you are GUARANTEED to get a better player than Wood in the draft, then no reason to trade him.

Tilman has regretted giving big contracts, we have seen that before somewhere.

We have no decent owner, lol.

I can see trading Gordon but a 26 yr old who is just starting to figure things out....CAN YOU SAY JAMES HARDEN AND OKC??

If we trade Wood, we're not going to get equal value. At most draft picks and a player, which will not equate to what you're trading him for.

And by the way, you still haven't said what or who you would trade Wood for or is this just hypothetical?

also people should value continuity and familiarity more...otherwise every year will be,

well they are just playing for the first time together..or its only their first year together...or this is only their 2nd year together or this is only their first non covid training camp together....or this is only their first year in the nba, kobe had this and that stat in his first 2 years or give coach more years to make things right and teach the players new system, introduce the new scheme...etc etc

look at the warriors last year, couldnt even get to playoffs, they didnt traded away everybody that is worth damn

and now this year with the same roster the best team in the league

Agreed! I think we have most of the pieces. I would like to add another forward to replace House and another big.

Our guards and wing players are set; KPJ, Green, JC, Matthew's and Brooks.

That's what I've been saying. And I can't see trading him for anybody else. Simmons? No.

I think once we get Green and KPJ back, we will be ok. Also, I think the more Sengun works on his 3pt shot, him and Wood will be able to play together.

We could make the picks we got from any theoretical Wood/EG trade for 2024/25/26, the years of the OKC trade or even later.

Three to four first rounders...or the equivalent of a #5 pick.
