And we've also won against some good teams as well if being honest.

There are no juggernauts in NBA this season.

I want another shot at GSW now with our new lineup.

Teams like Pelicans, Timberwolves, Kings, etc. have drafted in top 5 for YEARS without a generational talent to show for it.

Or if they do draft such a player, they just don't have success due to such poor losing culture.

That losing culture doesn't just go away after years of reinforcement with a flip of the switch.

No one said building a championship caliber team is ez. The teams u listed, honestly have a sht front office that even if they lucked into a generational talent, their incompetence drove the player away.

The warriors, were literally sht for years, but the losing culture didn't drive curry away did it?

I would prefer to draft in the 1-5 position since the odds of HoF talent/generation talent is higher, but many folks seem to associate that mindset as "tanking", drafting in the lottery until we find one is my new stance.

If u r in the lottery, who knows luck will get us pick 1-5 via odds.

Rockets new FO is still TBD.

Not against drafting top 5, just do not want us to purposefully tank.

Nor do I believe that draft is the only way to secure generational talent.

But losing culture should never become acceptable or worse, embraced.

Well, I never compared him to Hakeem. I just said Hakeem like most great players weren't the best they could be at 26.

I'd compare hims situation more to Ben Wallace.

Like Ben Wallace he was undrafted and like Ben Wallace he was a nobody until teams gave him a chance.

There is a difference here though because I think defense gets underrated by NBA scouts which is why some of the best all-time defenders are not like top 15 picks even...but that's another topic.

But I think there is an argument that guys have made that it might not be the best idea to trade Wood...I mean we will see. No reason to make the decision now although I wouldn't be upset if they traded Wood (considering what we get back of course...) but I think he's going to be a valuable member on a very good team one day.

Lmao yeah but we should still encourage players to be their best the earliest they can.

Late bloomers blossom late because they realize they are already behind.

It is not like he is a close to an elite shooter like Dirk or elite post up guy like Kareem.

The Rockets have not traded Wall or Gordon, they are very slow with players they should have traded.

    No worries.
