first half of the Warriors game dogging it. That game was the very
next day.

Like Wood was sending a message to the team. Run the offense thru me!
Conveniently shot 19.4% after that Nuggets game.

That's when you have Simmons set hard screens for Wood, GM or EGo.

Simmons can roll hard to basket for lob or our snipers can bang down treys.

And as the short roller, Simmons would be lethal.

I for one am glad it all happened if so, wins are so refreshing.

But I think you're giving Wood too much credit as this maniacal conspiracy mastermind.

 

I agree. What we fail to realize is that lineup personnel that played with any 2big combo is what makes it work. It was no accident we started playing well, and seeing more fluidity in the halfcourt sets -- everybody gets to eat and with little less individual play. Its because the players on the floor are intent in running the plays and stay disciplined in where they should be.

Also, multiple players are really hot right now wood eg garrison and even DJ. Sprinkle some big shooting nights from amoni and house and the ROY sengun - we've instantly become competitive. Far from being world beaters, but a team that has become easy to root for and support.

 

This streak was fun. Was.

 

It's been fun watching winning bball again, but we're not good enough as currently constructed. Need at least 1 more top 3 pick before we start taking off again.

 

I am fine with living with whatever results, but I wanted to see them competitive....that is what is happening now......

I'm watching the games, I don't follow stats. First 9 games he shot 38% and the two big man line up with Theis was still ****, so I don't get your argument here.

This is a false statement. Wall has not played all season, we don't know how he would help. I know last year he was known as commander of the tank, but yeah, that doesn't mean anything this year.

We don't know how Green would look with all this space. He was starting to play well offensively prior to getting injured.

Glad we picked up another win. I had to head to bed early with a migraine last night, annoyed I missed it.

 

The best is when people like that think everybody else is being short sighted, whilst seemingly not noticing that our youngsters (especially Sengun) really don't seem to enjoy losing. Throwing games and playing to lose for a pick is one of the most short sighted opinions ever. Just chasing a pick whilst chasing all your competitive players away to teams who fight to win is why there's teams who've been in the tank cycle since Yao was playing...
