There is nothing wrong with what he did. His brother is fighting for his career, ifir was an actual trial, you dig up dirt on the accusers

he used his media credentials, access and power to get the names of his brothers accusers so he could pass them on to his brothers attorneys. there is plenty wrong with that, especially if he is supposed to be an independent and fair-minded journalist with any integrity. he also lied to CNN about his involvement with helping his brother.

he destroyed any credibility he has as a journalist and for that reason alone he should have been fired and i could name people on other networks who also should be fired. give credit to CNN for doing the right thing. fox news should hold themselves to standards like this. they got their #1 anchor going out and campaigning for trump. its different than what cuomo did, but i would argue more destructive to any claims of journalistic independence and integrity.

There is nothing illegal about what he did and it had nothing to do with his credibility. That doesn't compromise his reporting.

What does he used his credentials exacly mean what kind of power does he have? He is an advisor to his brother, if cnn had no problem with that then you can't go credibility card now. When I say there is nothing wrong I don't have a problem with cnn ending his job

youre changing the goalposts - first you say there is nothing wrong with what he did and now youre saying there is nothing illegal with what he did.

    1) nobody is claiming it was illegal.
    2) it has everything to do with his credibility. he lied about how involved he was in helping his brother.
    3) it absolutely compromises his reporting

really dude? he used his position as a CNN anchor to get the names of his brothers accusers and passed their names off to his brothers attorneys. he was able to find out in advance about unfavorable news articles that were about to come out and he helped his brother to respond to them. he would speak to journalists whom he knew were writing stores about his brother in an attempt to get info that he could pass onto his brother.

he lied to CNN about how involved he was.

    it sounds like you do.

Cummo will have a podcast or something like that
    Don’t worry Cummo fans
It’s not like he made some jokes about some dudes on a Netflix special
That’s when the haters really come after you

He was an advisor for his brother already

How does his brother not have the names of his accusers? It's an official investigation.

The person who fired him said the decision wasn't easy so it's not as automatic as you're making it out to be

This just says he looked into the women, not found out who they were which again I'm sure his brother knew who they are

His brother deserves what is coming to him. I don't blame Chris and understand why he did what he did, that being said in terms of moral objectivism, its wrong.

I understand on the surface it sounds very wrong but it's just asking people you know what you've heard. He doesn't have aspecial database on the accusers because he is a journalist at cnn.

The problem according to this is he lied to viewers about being independent. https://theconversation.com/how-dua...ethics-problem-for-chris-cuomo-and-cnn-173057
That doesn't mean his actual news reporting wasn't honest

    But as far as CNN

They could do anything they want to him. It’s their job to have good ratings and not lose their viewers
Their viewers probably won’t view Cummo well now so he had to go

Like Drake being sued for the Travis Scott’s mess
He’s connected but not the main perpetrator
