No I don’t think it is likely. They will trade a few veterans to start reeling in the losses at some point.
is David Nwaba still on the roster? Is he injured? Where is Usman Garuba? When does he get to play with the Rockets?
Really thought Alpi did great at not fouling. Just shows how much Jalen Green being green was hurting the offense.
Just watched the game highlights and Mathews deserves a lifetime contract lol Jalen needs to get his **** together so we can make a play in game. Porter is finally looking good but needs to get healthy first

That logic only works if it’s the Rockets vs Durant … we already know Harden plays the same way as the Rockets do… so Durant 60% from midrange (aka layup) = L for Rockets … you put Tate/ Mathews on KD to be physical..EG on Harden….and rock with that.
Supposedly??? Wood does shoot 3's and at an extremely efficient % for the 5 spot. The modern BB era doesn't care how tall or how heavy a center is. The more skilled the better, no matter the position.
There are still takeaways to be had for the successful use of THREE bigs. Cole drops that 3 and the W would have been Orlando's. Unless you cannot see the forest for the trees.
[per basketball-reference.com ] C Wood first 17 games shot 4.8 (3-pt attempts) at 30.9% (3P%) C Wood last 5 games shot 3.8 (3-pt attempts) at 47.4% (3P%) ------------- Amazing how changing ones title changes ones 3P%..... or maybe pretending you can't shoot 3's as a PF gets you moved to Center. Thus giving a certain someone better stats in the Silas offense. Thus a better chance of getting a MAX contract. Just saying. There's no reason why Wood couldn't have been doing the same as power forward.
If you load up Harden with the rest of the roster as garbage as it is, its over. Let Durant score as much as he wants, its over. The Suns did that(to a degree) and they killed them. Let Durant score his stupid shots as much as he wants. They will lose. Im not afraid of Durant.
It's called spacing friend. But if you like that conspiracy theory you're pushing, have at it. But via your own thought process, a player trying to get a max contract would not purposefully tank a quarter of the season away and destroy his value. And finally, it was not just Wood who improved drastically with the rotation change. KPJ, EGo, Tate, Augustin, Mathews, Brooks, even freaking House all improved considerably after putting Theis on the bench. Before his injury, Green was also playing more efficiently at the very beginning of win streak.
