Hmm, this depends on who you ask. There a lot of people on the Chet/Banchero trail that took a loss tonight. However, you have others that are hoping for a play-in berth, so this is definitely a win. Some of us feel indifferent and just enjoying watching fun basketball again.
we looked mighty good minus rotations nazi benching and going away from sengun in the most crutial stretch honestly i am afraid to look at the highlights now because i am afraid we cant play this good again
The Rockets seemed to have solved their key weaknesses: higher assist totals for everyone, lower turnover numbers, middle-of-the-road defense and rebounding, and better perimeter shooting. As many on this board have suggested, all these issues were fixable. Against a team the caliber of the Magic, you could look at the score in the 3rd quarter (down by just a few) and realistically think that they would surge to the victory, even without KPJ. Still working out how to close games, but at least the apathy is gone.
for the most important parts of the game they play with 3 bigs(Wagner 6’9, Wendell 6’10 and bamba 7’0). It didn’t look cluttered last night either or the spacing didn’t look terrible. It hasnt worked for us but we need to do the groundwork and figure out how to play with bigs and multiple bigs in the floor at the same time.
of course! you can play multiple bigs, CLE is playing 3 bigs, too and they look quite OK as a team, even with their best player out for the season. The thing is HOW you play them. Theis/Wood looked terrible, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t have worked in a differently structured offense. Now, if Theis was forced on Silas and he was calling the clueless 5-OUT with Wood and Theis, basically throwing a fit to show that it won’t work, that’s a different story. I had hopes for Theis; in particular I wanted to see how he would fit with Wall… his game (and looks, frankly) reminded me of Gortat who was very efficient with Wall… This is all now moot, lost in the general dysfunction of this organization.
Hopefully he watch game film from last night and see what Orlando is doing. There's NO reason why Sengun and Wood can not play together.
Haha. I was asking can they win that predicted 25 games? Not, 60-something wins in a row? LoL Ummm [thinking to myself] could they win 60 games in a row? Can I un-jinx them by next game?
